"It is a great adaptation to a hotel from a historical building. Design is great and keeping with the train station theme. Normal rooms are small but well appointment, and they have tall ceilings, which makes it feel very spacious. River views are very nice! They give two pillows per person, one foam like and one plush. Staff is fantastic, breakfast amazing."

"The property and staff is OUTSTANDING! Gorgeous! Fabulous service and surroundings!!! ONLY ISSUE is you cannot leave the property to go to dinner or to the beach without paying 110 euros to get there and back. They should have a shuttle to Comporta but do not. No offense to the team it is a gorgeous hotel, pool, restaurant, etc!"

"The Aurea hotel was beautiful. It started right from the moment we walked into the hotel. We were offered complimentary drinks by the manager. He was so outgoing and super friendly! The room itself was absolutely stunning. We did not have the opportunity to swim in the pool because there is so much to see in Lisbon. However, we did go look at it and wished we had more time there. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel right on the beach. Would absolutely recommend and stay again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close walk to the beach and to the dock area with plenty of dining options and Casino. Indoor pool is a big plus for when weather isn’t ideal for outdoor pool and beach. My kids enjoyed the kids club child care for the adults to get a break. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Can’t wait to return and stay here again. "
