"Memmo Alfama is truly a hidden gem. The terrace/restaurant had a million dollar view overlooking Alfama, paired with amazing food and drinks. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had what we needed. The location was perfect for our stay, so close to so many major landmarks and allowed us to walk to pretty much anywhere we needed to go. The room was so clean, we got the partial ocean view balcony and it was truly magical. I cannot say enough for much we love this hotel, we will definitely return in the future. Overall the hotel claims 4 stars but it definitely deserves 5 stars. "

"Excellent hotel, spacious, very clean rooms, amazing bathrooms, the view is beautiful looking over the beach and the marina. Great breakfast with plenty to choose from. The staff is very attentive and efficient, always willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Thank you Troia Design Hotel, will definitely visit again."
