Beech Hill Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"No review."
Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel, spacious room beautiful food and friendly staff. Only recommendation I would make would be TV in room would better on the wall."
The Ro Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I had a lovely room overlooking the lake. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The weather was extremely hot during my stay but the room was air-conditioned and lovely and cool."
Stonecross Manor Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice place to stay, they are doing some renovations so looks like it’s only going to get better"
Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Excellent central location. The staff were helpful especially in reception and spa. The dining staff were efficient but less cheerful than one might expect in an establishment like this. Breakfast was plentiful but uninspiring. Luggage drop off was difficult due to heavy vehicles blocking the hotel entrance. The plumbing made a loud vibrating noise for 10 minutes after each toilet flush. The shower had excellent pressure and hot water. The room mini fridge had the internal light hanging down and the fridge didn’t appear to work. The hotel has old world charm and despite the small foibles mentioned above is a good accommodation option."
Cumbria Grand Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room was a good size with a lovely sea view; great kingsize bed, when we only expected a double in the classic room; very clean. Breakfast was self-service. Full English was good, although not as hot as when cooked fresh. Limit options otherwise - no crusty bread and only plain yogurt tinned fr"
Holiday Inn Lancaster by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was great for a stopover on our journey south, checkin was easy, room was great and breakfast ideal before we went on our way again. The facilities looked great though we didn’t get to use them. We would definitely visit again and would be happy to spend longer there."
