“Granite Getaway Cottage.” An adorable cottage in a quiet family neighborhood

"Granite Getaway Cottage” has bright and airy rooms with an outside covered deck for enjoying your morning coffee! The deck has a gas grill for cooking out. There is a comfortable living room with large smart screen TV, DVD player, power recliner and an electric fireplace for ambience or those chilly nights. The kitchen has a dining table or you can sit at the counter to eat your meals. Dual coffee maker with several coffees provided. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The bathroom has a large walk in shower with detachable shower head. Queen bed has comfortable linens and usb ports in the bedside tables. Two twin beds in other bedroom with comfortable bedding also. All mattresses and box springs are fully encased for sanitation. There is a small crib, baby gate, and umbrella stroller available. There are laundry facilities if needed. Natural cleaning products used to clean and sanitize the home. Keyless digital smart lock with Wi-Fi deadbolt.

I was in town for several days for a family reunion. The location was convenient and the house was clean and comfortable. We found the notebook containing maps, menus from local restaurants, and information about the house very useful.

Definitely a great little cottage. So much attention to detail and all the little things really helped make our stay so comfortable. If we are ever in the area again and need a place to stay, this is where we'll try first.

Beautiful, cozy cottage, decorated perfectly. Very clean and great location to Hickory, Lenoir and Connelly Springs. Exceptional attention to details from the coffees to qtips and hygiene items in the bathroom. The kitchen is a chef's dream. Gorgeous!

Perfect Cozy Cottage

Perfect location to Lenoir and Hickory. This cottage is the perfect size for a family of four. It is sparkling clean, bright and welcoming. Really felt like a vacation getaway! Quite location and so convenient to so many things. The beds are very comfortable. WiFi is lighting fast according to my teenagers! We will certainly be back and will recommend this rental to anyone needing a place in the area. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Wonderful little cottage

We were thrilled with our stay. We arrived to a personalized welcome sign and a snack, which was a blessing after a longer than anticipated trip. The house was incredibly cute and comfortable, not to mention impressively clean. It was close to lots of tasty little restaurants and the street was quiet and pleasant. Plenty of clean linens and everything was in good working order. The kids loved the little yard and porch and had the greatest time. The only thing was the master bed was a bit hard for our liking. An available soft mattress topper would have made this a ten star stay. Would definitely stay again!

Sweet Stay for Dear Friends!

We did not stay at Granite Getaway Cottage but booked it as a special gift for our pastor and his wife, who were officiating our son's wedding over the weekend at Heritage Valley Farm. We wanted to treat them to a much-needed three-night getaway, and this cottage turned out to be the perfect choice.Before booking, I messaged Peggy to make sure everything would be okay with the arrangement, and I was thrilled by how kind and accommodating she was. She made the process so easy and welcoming.Our pastor and his wife absolutely loved the home! They said it was cozy, clean, and comfortable—perfect for some rest and relaxation between the wedding festivities. One of their favorite things was sitting out on the covered porch in the evenings. To their surprise and delight, there was even a beautiful fireworks display just a few blocks away on Friday night, which made their stay even more memorable.They said the cottage was just as described and the home felt very safe and secure. It’s clear that Peggy takes great care in maintaining the cottage and ensuring guests feel at home.They told us they would definitely stay here again—and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future either. Highly recommend Granite Getaway Cottage for a peaceful and charming stay!
