"We were happy to have a clean and comfortable place to stay while in Torrington visiting family. The hotels in town are nasty so this was a great alternative. There is a park across the street and an Office warehouse on the street behind, so it’s quiet at night which was a plus. Inside is definitely as advertised, cozy but not cramped, the furniture and decor is well appointed. We will definitely stay again."

"I booked this VRBO to celebrate my birthday with friends. I had already cleared the gathering with the owner in advance and confirmed that no more than four people would stay overnight.The first time the owner arrived was supposedly to bring cookies, oranges, and toilet paper. However, she immediately accused us of smoking indoors after seeing us smoking outside on the front patio. Once we explained we weren’t smoking inside, she showed us a designated smoking area and left.Later, around 8:30...
