Carter Caves State Resort Park

Carter Caves State Resort Park

10/10 Excellent
"Carter Caves Lodge was in a quiet rural setting, the buildings were nice but needed some love. The staff was excellent and very kind showing the true spirit of the people of Kentucky. The “amenities” are the beautiful elements of nature that surround the lodge. Hiking, camping, horseback riding and more. The lodge food as well prepared and the staff was welcoming. I definitely recommend this hidden gem."

"Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Light was getting in around the window shades which affects my sleep. You will fight coming and going with the cart because it's a one glass door front entrance. But, again, it was a clean hotel."

"No complaints about the room which had a king bed. The Roku TV wasn't working, but the manager on duty (Jessica?) figured out the problem pretty quickly. There was a sign mentioning a swimming pool in the lobby, but it's no longer in service. Complimentary breakfast was good."
