"It was a beautiful home within a nice secluded location. We chose this home because of the number of bedrooms with king/queen bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. And of course for its view. However, we were not able to enjoy the rooms downstairs. There was a very strong mildew/musty/moldy smell downstairs. It was so strong, no one wanted to go downstairs or sleep down there. There was a nice pool table downstairs that we weren’t able to use. Our teens ended up staying upstairs with us. We also experienced strange excessive flickering in the master shower. It was very annoying when showering and concerning for my daughter who has epilepsy. We were concerned that it would trigger a seizure. We also noticed that some lights would randomly turn off overnight. I did contact customer service who contacted maintenance. Maintenance came out immediately and had difficulty replicating the flickering issue but guess they found it. It got significantly better but still continued slightly but manageable but not sure why lights shut off on their own. Not much could be done with the smell downstairs. We really wanted to love this house so much more. We just didn’t feel that we got the value that we paid for. We had hoped that the teens could enjoy the downstairs space and the adults enjoyed upstairs but it didn’t go as planned with the smell. I hope the smell gets addressed so that others have the opportunity to enjoy the entire home and what it has to offer."

"The cabin was very spacious and comfortable, with amenities providing everything that we needed. Location was absolutely "peaceful". We loved sitting on the front porch chair swings surrounded by lovely, very quiet woods. Would love to stay here again!"
