"Loved our room! Huge, great bedding, fireplace, jacuzzi tub. The only issue I had was there was no elevator and we had heavy suitcases to lug upstairs. Other than that, it was great. Right in the Main Street in the center of town in Stowe. Beautiful area."
"Great location, clean, updated hotel. The hotel room was nice with an updated bath and a large shower. Enjoyed the indoor pool and the outdoor hot tub. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Stowe Vermont area."
The Lodge at Spruce Peak, a Destination by Hyatt Residence
10/10 Excellent
"Overall I’ve had excellent stays at Spruce Peak Lodge. The rooms are lovely. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. Alpine Hall and Tipsy Trout restaurants are delicious. Outdoor pool and hot tubs are relaxing and surrounded by fantastic views. The only slight hiccup I’ve encountered both times are with the spa amenities. Each time the women’s space has been either out of commission entirely or broke while I was using it and I had to leave. That said, the spa did supply a voucher to cover amenities for a future visit. I just hope when I return to use it that the amenities are working."

10/10 Excellent
"We wish we could give a higher rating to the Riverhouse than 5 stars. We had a wonderful stay in Vermont. The owners put their heart into setting up the Riverhouse for the guests - every little detail was covered (from extra soaps to an assortment of teas). The property includes everything that is needed for a comfortable and self-sufficient stay. The house is very clean and very tastefully decorated. Beds are comfortable and the highlight was sleeping with open windows to the sound of the flowing river. We grilled a dinner on the deck overlooking the river and had a great time. The Riverhouse will be the first property we will check the availability, if our travels take us to this area in VT again."
"The room was small. No chair, no couch, no place to put luggage out of the way. The shower stall door was broken and the bathroom was very small with no room to move around with two people. My husband fixed the blind in our room because it was broken. The water took 30 sec or more to get hot. Loved the breakfast."
Beautiful Teeny Tiny Cottage On Lake Eden, directly on the water front
8/10 Good
"Very cool place! The lake and stars are beautiful. I recommend going for a walk on the gravel road, we saw loons and a beaver swimming. The owner gives very thorough instructions and there are signs posted to help visitors know what to do. Safety is also considered as there are two ring cameras on both doors of the residence facing towards the entrance and the dock. The toilet is something to consider, especially if you are sensitive to smoke smells. However, everything worked as described. The toilet was actually easier to use than it seemed.Overall, it was a unique and functional place in a gorgeous setting."
Fabulous All-Season Lakehouse, 600' Lakefront, Lake Eden Vermont
6/10 Okay
"The lake Eden cottage is well kept and has everything that you need. It is a serene spot with water surrounding 3 sides. The cottage has numerous windows offering a great deal of light. It is located on a quiet road and the only traffic is from other residents. Communication with James was easy and he did get back to us in a timely basis. The only problem that we had was the comfort of the furniture. The main living area is rattan furniture with ill fitting cushions and an old futon with an old mattress. One bedroom is advertised as a queen and it looks to be more the size of a full bed. I do not wish to discredit the property, because it is a special place. I just feel that this should be mentioned giving you an awareness."
"John is a great host and super easy to communicate with. His cottage is perfect for me and my dog to explore the great outdoors in the Craftsbury-Greenboro area. The cottage is also very close to two great general stores, the Genny in Craftsbury and Willey’s in Greensboro. The cottage has all the amenities you need to stay as long as you want and also has a great yard just to hang outside and play with your dog."
