The reception kept in touch with me ahead of my arrival and made sure that I was looked after upon arrival. The room was very nice - big enough for what I needed - clean and well-equipped. "We had a memorable honeymoon stay at Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve. The property is beautifully maintained, blending comfort with the rugged charm of the Cederberg landscape. Cleanliness: The rooms were spotless, with thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. Pool & Spa: The pool was well-kept and inviting, though on the smaller side. It was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring, and the spa was relaxing and professional—an ideal way to unwind. Staff & Service: The staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay special. Facilities: Everything felt well cared for, from the lodge amenities to the outdoor areas. Surroundings: The reserve itself is breathtaking—quiet, scenic, and full of unique rock formations. It’s a great base for stargazing, hikes, and soaking in the natural beauty. Highlights: Stargazing under the clear night sky was unforgettable. The guided nature walks gave us a deeper appreciation of the local wildlife and history. Dining options were varied and delicious, fresh with a nice balance of local flavors. Travel notes: Kagga Kamma is located about three hours’ drive from Cape Town, so plan ahead for the journey. The nearest town is roughly an hour and a half away, making the reserve very secluded. This adds to the tranquility, but it’s worth preparing for the remoteness."

"We arrived late in the evening as dinner was being served but after a slight mix up with our room we were given lovely cottage/house that was beautiful. We were only here for one night but it was so lovely. The dinner was simple but really enjoyable and all guests sat around the fire pit afterwards until late into the night telling stories about their travels. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and would recommend this place. "
