"All good"

"There was no bar and no restaurant despite website advertising the property had both, which was very disappointing as that was our reason for choosing this location. Building is sadly very run down, as were bedrooms. Bathroom was damp and bath felt as if it was going to fall through the floor if it was filled with water. Bed was clean and comfortable, shower was pleasant with lots of hot water. Hotel has lots of potential and I hope it is refurbished soon to realise this. It was OK for the cheap room rate, but disappointing for advertised amenities to not be available. "

"Wifi was good, HDMI cable can be used on the TV's in the room which is handy when travelling for work or wanting to access a laptop etc. Hotel was generally clean and tidy."

"The staff were fantastic very friendly and attentive. The spa was really lovely and well run The grounds round the manor house very well looked after and make a very pleasant walk"

"The room although basic was spotless clean. Only downside was that an extra pillow each would have been nice and there were no glasses. "

I used the whatsapp as indicated to try and get some support with the appalling noise levels from other guests, as there was no phone, and I was a solo traveller with a child, so unable to go to the desk in the middle of the night. No answer, no support, minimal sleep. Other guests at breakfast had also had no sleep due to guest noise"
