"We were returning from skiing and wanted a day to play in Lyon prior to getting on the plane. This was a nice, out of the way place. We went to Lyon and had fun, and were close to the airport when it was time to leave. The house we clean, check in was easy, owner was very helpful. I would stay again!"

Whilst you do need a car, there are many facilities near by, hypermarkets, restaurants - and getting into Lyon is very simple. "As advertised and as expected the accommodations was in an old French country farmhouse. This was not the Carlton but it was the experience we were looking for. The owner advertised a washing machine but it was not available. Found a couple of cobwebs, but overall we were satisfied."

"We had arrived in Paris after a 10-hour transatlantic flight, taken the TGV to Lyon, and driven our rental car to St. Albans. We planned to stay two nights to recuperate from jet lag. St. Albans is filled with narrow streets that seem to have more traffic than you would expect in a small town. It was very dark when we arrived and Verizon's international plan offered no connectivity. I knew the address of the rental, and I had the key box code. It would not open the key box. I tried...
