What a fabulous place to stay!
The house is lovely, spacious, comfortable and perfect for a family of 4 or 6. It’s set in Scala, on a quite little cul-de-sac and is the end property of 3. The kitchen and living space is well presented and comfortable with everything you need. The bedrooms of a good size, the ones upstairs re en-suite, both have balconies from which you can see the sea. There is a balcony off the living room and from the kitchen access to the garden and terrace which runs round the house. I’d highly recommend the house, just a very short stroll to both the beech and into the town where there are a good array of shops and restaurants. It’s the perfect holiday location from which with a car you can explore the beaches and other towns on the island. Thank you for letting us stay in your fabulous house.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay!
From start to finish, the experience has been excellent. The hosts kept up communication at every step of the journey and couldn’t have done more to help. They were unfailingly kind, attentive and considerate. Upon arrival, they had provided some bread, ham, cheese, teas and coffees, orange juice, wine, crisps - all of which were so welcome after a late night flight! Truly grateful! The property itself is in a great location - very close to the beauty of beach (the quieter end) yet within super easy walking of the heart of the village. There is a relatively short and steep incline from the property up to the street, which someone less mobile might struggle with in the heat, but we didn’t find it troublesome. The Big Village Pool is at the top of that slope and was a perfect pit stop for a dip and a coffee. There are multiple really nice tavernas and bars, within 5 minutes’ walk, plus bakeries, souvenir shops, creperies and icecreams so everyone was comfortable catered for. We did a little self catering at lunch time and the odd evening meal, and the supermarkets were well stocked with fruit, veg, rice, pasta plus some meat. Most was frozen but the AB supermarket had some fresh meat in it. I only mention this for planning purposes. The kitchen has everything you need, incidentally - dishwasher, oven, hob, plus lots of cutlery and utensils. We found the prices very reasonable in Skala - and ate so much lamb and seafood!! The villa itself is extremely comfortable with any number of seating areas, which made it very convenient as a family space. I came here with my mum, her boyfriend, my husband and 2 sons (10 and 14), and it was great that people could go off to their rooms, sit in various terraces, play ping pong or use the X Box. It’s super clean!! It was so nice to have the place cleaned several times whilst we were there, plus the beds and towels changed midway through the stay. We had a very late night flight, and our hosts couldn’t have been kinder in allowing us to vacate later, and giving us some respite from the heat whilst waiting for the taxi. I couldn’t recommend this villa or their hosts any more highly.

Just stunning!
Andrew & Chris were top notch hosts. Any questions I had about activities had them send me detailed info on loads of options, which was so helpful & helped take the stress out of trying to work it out myself. The villa was lovely & a short 5 minute walk to Skala beach which was beautiful. Secluded & private but so close to the hubbub of the town square & where loads of restaurants were located. There was a lovely pool we used all the time literally at the top of the driveway. Honestly, 10/10 for the villa & the hosts. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Villa harmonia Skala
The villa surpassed all of our expectations, beautifully presented and immaculately clean . The location has to be one of the best paces in Skala village itself for easy access to all amenities. The villa is a credit the owners and certainly will be looking to book again .

Villa Harmonia
For our family it could not of been better. The house was clean, spacious and modern. Very well equipped. With a lovely landscaped garden, multiple seating areas and the table tennis was used daily! Also, must say the beds were all very comfortable. We’re already talking about going back… One last thing, the communication with the hosts was absolutely excellent. Thank you

Fabulous Location
Fabulous detached property situated just a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beach of Skala. The property is spotless, well equipped, spacious with great air-conditioning. Plenty of outdoor space. No pool. However, you can use the pool at a nearby hotel just 2 minutes walk.

A chilled week .....
We chose Villa Harmonia for our “girls away” week and were very happy with our decision. The villa is maintained to a high standard, very comfortable and well equipped with some lovely pictures and a plethora of beautiful outdoor spaces to sit and read, eat and drink or simply just relax. We managed to be there for the best of the apricots which we enjoyed for breakfast each morning (although beware sunbathing under them falling off the tree). The photos simply don’t do the property justice. On our late arrival we repaired to Socrates Tavern, which was even nearer than we had hoped, here Elaine made us very welcome after a long day. Annie and Eleni, who look after the villa, were great too and we visited Galera as well during the week. For a special meal out with exceptional service we enjoyed dinner at the Sunrise Restaurant on the beach. The pool at the Big Village Hotel is also close by and a great place to cool off with a beer after a hot day. We didn’t need a car; the facilities are really as close as described. The supermarket in the main street was well stocked and delivered our initial shop home for us although you must go to AB Supermarket for fresh meat and fish. Sadly, the fish nearby shop has closed. One day we took a taxi to Poros for a change and a look at the beautiful coastline, this cost €17 each way. There are also various boat trips available. Thank you, Andrew and Chris

Fantastic villa in a perfect location in Skala
The booking of Villa Harmonia was easy from the very start, with great communication with the owners, Andrew and Chris. The villa was perfect for us, a family of four with two teenagers, 16 and 19. It is ideally located, right on the edge of the village, giving privacy, peace and quiet, yet literally only three minutes walk to the beautiful beach and the same to the centre of Skala, which has everything you need to enjoy your stay: a couple of small supermarkets, gift shops, car hire and plenty of bars and tavernas, more than enough to eat somewhere differently every night of our ten day break, (even accounting for the few that were closed due to covid-19!). There is air conditioning throughout, giving much appreciated relief after a hot day on the beach! The three bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable, the two upstairs having large balconies looking over olive trees to the sea. There is plenty of outside space to relax, three areas with table and chairs and one with sunloungers and table tennis table, giving plenty of choice for sun, shade, rest or play. Overall, a lovely property in the perfect location, supported by the fact that all four of us said it was our favourite summer holiday to date!

This is the 2nd year we have stayed in Villa Harmonia and it didn't disappoint. You can tell that the villa is well loved and every little home comfort has been thought of. It's like home from home but with the beautiful sea view!

l feel the property is much nicer than the pictures show . it is on the edge of town which is great as you are kind of secluded, and surrounded by, olive, plum, apricot, fig, orange and lemon trees, too bad they were not ripe at the time if our stay. WiFi is excellent. 3 seperate full bathrooms, awesome, and many places to sit outside in shade or sun any time iof day. The only thing I wished is that there was a BBQ for guests to use, as there is a fresh seafood market seconds away by foot. I would stay thier again in the future and would recommend it without any hesitation. OPA!

Easy location, quiet lovely villa.
Very well equipped villa. Very close to the beach and main streets of Skala. Very good WiFi (essential when travelling with teenagers). This villa would suit families or groups who want there own bathrooms, really enjoyed the location.

Very enjoyable stay - can't be faulted for a holiday rental
Villa Harmonia is very well located in Skala. It is private and peaceful, yet only a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach that feels unspoilt; plus it is about one minute from the villa to the nearest bar/pool. The two closest restaurants, Socrates and Galera, were in our opinion, the best for value and quality, that we dined at during our stay. The villa itself is well appointed and along with the gardens, all nicely maintained - it comes across clearly that this is not just a rental but a well cared-for additional home for the owners. Aside from this, the villa is also spacious, there were 4 adults in our party and there was plenty of room for several more guests if needed. The owners had everything organised - from an up-to date information pack, helpful local assistance if needed, plus a mid week clean. Our family have used a lot of villa rentals in the past 15 years, and all-in-all, this was certainly one of the most relaxing, enjoyable and effortless for us.

Beautiful villa, very clean and spacious and great location
We have just returned from a weeks holiday and as soon as we arrived we wished we were staying for longer! The villa is beautiful and a perfect location. We went as a family of 6...2 kids (5&9), 2 parents and 2 grandparents and Skala has something for everyone. Most mornings we walked to the bakers (there are 2 but we went to the older one) for fresh crossiants and fresh bread to take back to the villa and enjoy in the garden. We also went to Kaliva which is just up from the villa and has lovely views of the sea. They serve a great fry up for 5 Euros. We used the pool at the big village every day and the kids enjoyed an ice cream (€2). The beach is beautiful, but don't forget your beach shoes and quite a stoney walk into the sea. The sea is clear and warm. You can hire 2 sun beds and umbrella for €6 per day. You must go to Milos which is the beach restaurant. Costa's is very welcoming and our kids loved him! The food there for lunch is also great. Annie at Galera is lovely. The food was delicious and she made us feel very at home. Food at Caryatis was really good too. We walked down to the Dolphin ski club and tried out the pedaloes and jet skis. It's run by an English family who are really nice. The pool at Pikiona is great and the food there for lunch was really good. They serve a great coffee too! We had a fabulous holiday - thank you. Chris and Andrew the owners were extremely helpful and the welcome pack was well received. Having English plug sockets and adapters was super (as was the Xbox according to my son!) and not having to take any towels was amazing. Lots of little touches from start to finish, really made our holiday. We have already been looking when we can return next year. Highly recommend- Thank you Chris and Andrew.

Family Wedding Get Away.
What a wonderful place everything you will ever need to relax unwind and enjoy Skala and all within a 5 min walk from the town shops, restaurants and bars. The villa is very well equipped with stunning views from two of the bedrooms and very spacious bathrooms and lots of information provided by the owners to help with your stay. There are lots of places to relax and enjoy the outdoor space of the villa with two upstair balcony's and three downstair areas and a table tennis table to enjoy. The pool Bar is located at the entrance to the villas and very welcoming and a lovely place to relax next to the pool for the price of a drink or ice cream. I would highly recommend this villa for anyone who wants to stay in Skala without having to hire a car to reach all that Skala has to offer.

Beautifully presented spacious villa perfect for families. Villa is in a first class location.
Loved staying here. So comfortable and immaculate. The photos dont quite do justice to it. Pretty garden and seating areas. A fabulous location near to the uncrowded beach and excellent taverns. Wonderful and safe for wandering teenagers. Skala seemed unspoilt and unhurried. Communication with the owners was speedy and helpful. A wonderful stay in Kefalonia.

Excellent holiday rental
We stayed here as a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) and had a fabulous holiday in this great villa. All communication with the owners and the contacts in Kefalonia was excellent, always efficient, polite and helpful. The location of the villa is just brilliant. Couple of minutes walk to the sea, very friendly swimming pool bar at the end of the drive and shops and tavernas within minutes walk. We particularly enjoyed walking in the morning for fresh croissants at the local bakery and had fabulous seafood dinners at a taverna on the beach. The villa has everything you need for a family holiday, it is very clean, tastefully decorated, excellent air conditioning, great wifi (teenager was happy) and all the appliances such as dishwasher, washing machine etc. We loved the outdoor space, particularly playing table tennis and eating the fresh peaches from the tree. The views to the sea are lovely, especially from the double bedroom. This is one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in and would have no hesitation recommending it to others and returning ourselves in the future.

Skala's little gem....
We stayed in Villa Harmonia for 10 nights and loved everything about it. Rather than bore you repeating what everyone else has already said in their reviews, we will just say that we totally agree. We were attending a family Wedding during our stay, so we had some entertaining to do, the accommodation lends itself to this very easily with the different outside areas and the airy spacious inside it makes it all such a pleasure. We only did gatherings for drinks because nobody cooks on holiday!! and with so many lovely restaurants (far too many to mention them all) why would you even want to. All our meals were delicious and the staff are so funny and can be great entertainers too. We have been to Skala many times and will definitly return to this little gem of a find. The communication and service provided by Chris and Andrew is second to none.... thank you both very much.

Wonderful stay at Villa Harmonia, family of 5, August 2017
Villa Harmonia is just the most perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday in the beautiful village of Skala. Skala itself is a great base from which to explore the island, however there is plenty of reasons just to stay in the village itself. Villa Harmonia is located centrally only a couple of minutes walk from both the main street and the beach. Having stayed in Skala before we knew what to expect of the fantastic resort and it never disappoints, with it's welcoming peaceful atmosphere, plethora of friendly tavernas offering delicious home cooked Greek recipes to enjoy after long days spent on the golden beach and swimming in the gorgeous green ionian. However, the Villa itself came as a massive surprise! Before our stay the communication from Chris and Andrew- the owners of the villa, was absolutely superb and throughout our stay we were confident that we would have any needs met from the wonderful contacts at the resort itself. The photographs of the villa really do not do it justice, the sense of light and space is wonderful. The outdoor spaces are also beautifully maintained and provide much loved extra living areas. Everything you could possibly need is available at the villa and the rooms are decorated beautifully throughout. I can not praise the accommodation, owners or resort highly enough and hope to return again to Villa Harmonia in future trips to Kefalonia.

Clean and modern villa in a quiet area... 300 mts from a beach
Villa Harmonia is fantastic, it is one of the best places we've ever stayed at. Located in a quiet area, yet in the center of Skala, 200 mts as the crow flies from the beach, 300 mts walk - I used to walk barefoot there. The main street in Skala is no farther than 5 mins of walk. By the way, the beach is one of the best we've seen in Greece: more less sandy (sandy for Mediterranean standards), with crystal-clear water, a few - but not too many - bars nearby. And not too many visitors. 3 clean, modern bedrooms, each with their own A/C, all beds have comfortable mattresses - offering you great rest after a hot sunny day in Kefalonia. Chris and Andrew - thank you for a wonderful time in Skala - we will love to come back !

A lovely 3 bedroom villa in a fantastic location in Skala
This beautiful villa is perfectly situated in a quiet secluded part of Skala but has everything you need within a few hundred meters. It has three good size bedrooms all beautifully decorated and a lovely comfortable layout downstairs as well as impressive outdoor space in which to relax. A hundred yards up from the villa and you are in the amongst the many wonderful bars and restaurants that Skala has to offer, it is also a short walk to the beach and twenty yards to a lovely pool bar which we used regularly. We had such a lovely relaxing time in Skala and the time spent in this beautiful property was a major factor to this. A special thanks to Galia who was always available to help and advise us and also to the owners who made everything so easy for us from start to finish. Hopefully we will return for another holiday here and in this fantastic villa.

Fabulous holiday
We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Skala staying at Villa Harmonia. This really is a fantastic place with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay home from home. The villa is spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. We loved all the lovely outside spaces and the wonderful garden full of colour. There was always somewhere to be in the shade or in the sun and we spent many happy hours just enjoying these areas. The view from the upstairs bedroom balcony looking out to sea is amazing. We didn't often bother with the shutters and watching dawn break over the ocean while lying in bed was incredible. The pictures on the website are fabulous but still don't do full justice to this place. The villa is in a great location, literally within walking distance of everything. The beach is a pleasant stroll away and we used the pool at the Big Village Hotel too. All the shops and supermarkets were handy and there are so many Tavernas and Bars that you can be in a different one every evening should you wish. It was also a pleasure to prepare some meals in the well equipped kitchen and enjoy them al fresco at the villa. Our favourite restaurants were probably Siroco, Galera and the Old Village and we enjoyed Captains Bar, Veto and Metaxa bar for pre and post dinner drinks. Skala is a very chilled place to enjoy lazy days but we enjoyed a boat trip up to Fiskardo and were able to hire a car for a couple of days through Greekstones and had a good time exploring the area while dealing with the mountain roads! All in all we had a great time and are looking forward to our next visit. Andrew and Chris gave fantastic service during the booking process with lots of information prior to the trip and also during our stay when we had a small issue with the aircon. Nothing felt like it was too much trouble. Thank you so much for everything and we look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future
