Absolutely amazing boutique hotel. Staff are all outstanding from George, Anna and all the maintenance staff. All of whom can not do enough for you, without being intrusive. The view is one of the best that I have ever been fortunate enough to see in my life. I was overwhelmed by its natural beauty. Perfect holiday for us.

Beautiful hotel. Great attention to detail.
My wife and I spent 2 nights at the hotel. We got upgraded on arrival and the room we stayed in was beautiful. A glitch with the shower, which was "temperamental" to say the least, meant I didn't give 5* in the Hotel condition category. Still, the rest of the facilities were so great that I can't really complain. The service was great and the breakfast divine. The place is pricey... but luxury comes at a price!

Hillside site overlooking harbour
Set high up an unmade up track the hotel has great views of the harbour below. The wide terrace has a. Attractive plunge pool. Each room is I di ideal in character and ours was large and airy suit into the hillside with the shower room,s walls being the actual stonework of the cliff face. There were many characterful decorations and artwork throughout the hotel. Staff and owners were all very attentive to any special requests. We ate deliciously prepared local dishes, both savoury and sweet for our breakfasts and enjoyed two delicious dinners with again local ingredients. You need to get a taxi to Lavrio Port from Athens ,then a 1 hour ferry to Kea, which is a lovely island.

Also, thank you for the kind words regarding our restaurant "Aigis Sunset Bar-Resto" and our staff. We are continually trying to keep the variety and quality of food items that we offer to the highest level and we are aiming to emphasise the greek local products in each of our dishes. Lastly, the accessibility to Kea Island is really easy as you mentioned, either 40 minutes by car from the International Airport of Athens or 60 minutes from the centre of Athens to the port of Lavrio and then 60 minutes to Kea Island by boat. The 400 meters distance from the most touristic spot which is the vourkari port, makes our hotel easily accessible even through google map. Thank you for choosing Aigis Suites for your summer holidays and we hope to see you again next summer!

The hotel ist located on top of a hill overlooking the Vourkari bay. The location is great and the view of the sunset is impressing. On the other hand, you have to drive 500m uphill on a bumpy dirtroad to get to the hotel. You need a car definitely, otherwise you will call a taxi every single time you leave or return to the hotel. The room itself was OK, but... the toilet was is in a closet! Not kidding....have never seen something like that. If you condiser this a funny story that you can tell later to your friends, you can live with it for 2 days. Nevertheless....zero privacy when you use it while others are in the room. At least our room had this kind of facility. The breakfast was great and you can choose your own menu and enjoy it while sitting outside at your balcony or veranda. The hotel owners were nice and very helpful, no proble at all with them. Overall, it is a stylish hotel with a spectacular view over the bay and the sunset.

Dear Errikos, Thank you for your review. It means a lot to us to read your comments. We would like to inform you that the hotel has been renovated and even some of the bathrooms have remained "in the closet" as you said we have made them more spacious and private. This is a different architectural and interior design style that Liza Morfoniou and Christos Vlachos as the interior designer and the architect have decided to follow 12 years ago and it still remain one of the remarks of the hotel as one of the unique characteristics of the boutique hotel. We would be really happy to accommodate you next summer so you could have an updated opinion about our suites. Thank you again.
