Great property, newly built with high spec facilities. This is unfortunately let down by extremely poor service. Staff is new, and unsupervised. They talk back to you and do not take accountability. Training is the big issue here. Yes the resort is new and the family resort is not ready so there was a major overspill to the adults only resort. Service is a major issue though, coffee at breakfast can take 45mins, long queues for breakfast, room is not made up till nearly 2pm, letters asking guest to check out coming on the wrong day, staff knocking on the door at 830am even when it says do not disturb, broken umbrellas at the pool areas a major safety issue, safe not working in the room, internet was completely cut off for hours so tv and phone was not working, couldn’t even call reception! Room service taking over an hour. Aircon cuts out in room all night. Poor massage service, staff was completely untrained. Orange juice at breakfast is from a carton, it’s not freshly squeezed! Adults only zone has babies crying. Taxi service during leave hours takes about an hour as staff is unorganised, taxis coming and leave without guests in it and staff can’t find the guests who booked it. Construction noises ruined the chill out time at the beach! List goes on and on..never seen this in a five star resort. Shame because the property is great and has high potential! Guest relations manager did take feedback and are striving to improve conditions.
