Our stay at Kos Palace Hotel
Great location on the beach. Very clean and peaceful . Ocean view rooms were fabulous! Breakfasts were excellent-many great food choices. Staff was friendly and helpful! Lots of shopping and restaurants close by.

Booked a week mid September 2022. Staff welcoming. Room exceeded expectations. Spacious and comfortable. Pool was great for playing or swimming and plenty of sun beds. The beach was just across the road. Only negative was paying for sun beds on the beach and towel rentals.

Very helpful front desk. I did not use the restaurant, as I previously booked meals at other places. I was not told about a room upgrade. The room was great, good sunrise views from balcony. Breakfast was a buffet and delicious. I would recommend it, as it is on a beach. We used a rental, but others used public transit.

Friendly and welcoming, the swimming pool is wonderful and the hotel is located in fronting a section of the Beach reserved for the guests. There is a Rhodes beach in the beach and the hotel. At the hotel restaurant, dinner is not à la carte – it is a buffet. Each towel (for the beach or swimming pool) costs 15 euros per person (10 of which are refundable upon towel return). There are no other major attractions, restaurants, or shops within walking distance.

Dear madam, Looks like our reply in another guest review portal was not to your liking and you still want to mislead holiday makers. So, this lady book a TWIN BEDDED room and indeed that is what we provided. On her arrival and with our hotel 100% fully booked, she demanded a double bed room - or else-. Unfortunately, all of our double bed rooms were occupied on her arrival day, and we politely and professionally explain that to her. In order to satisfy her as we always do for all of our guests, we went all the way and provided a double mattress on top of their 2 single beds. However, this was not good enough for this lady. After that, everything in the hotel was wrong. Her comments about guest mix, charges, ants, walls etc. are all untrue and deliberately inflated completely out of proportion as she clearly wants to "punish" our hotel just because her unreasonable demand was not met the way she wanted. We pride ourselves in being genuinely friendly and guest satisfaction oriented, no matter what nationality a guest maybe. The quality of our hotel, our services and our guest mix is more than evident in booking portals with hundreds of unbiased and objective reviews from Italian, British, Greek, Dutch, German, Swiss, American, Turkish guests - to name but a few.

Hotel has been missold by Expedia. It is a Tui hotel designed for German package tour guests.Facilities were ok though hotel was not able to supply an ironing board with iron suggesting we use the bed! Only one flat pillow was supplied per person and we had to collect others ourselves. Food offering was German based as was main language used in the hotel. As independent travellers we go to differnt countries to experience local life and food. Had we wanted to eat German food this time we would have taken another holiday in Germany. Dinner was €20 buffet offering even if you only wanted one course. Pool towels had to be hired as did safe depisit box, both only a weekly basis. Hotel had no way they could think of charging for a 2 day stay. Unacceptable anyway for a supposed 4 star hotel to be making these charges. Water at 50c for 1.5 litres was charged at €1.50 for 0.5 litre an outrageous 900% mark up on a necessity in such a hot climate.If Expedia had correctly described as a tui package tour hotel we would not have stayed. We would not recommend for independent travellers and will not return.

We are pleased that you found our hotel facilities to your satisfaction and we are sorry to hear that you did not find a few things to your liking. Kindly note that we do have a mixed nationalities clientele and indeed, we have a large number of German speaking guests. But at the very same time, we also have a lot of Scandinavian, English, Polish, Greek, Italian -to name but a few- other guest nationalities in our property at any given period. Regrettably, as we do not have a 24 hour housekeeping service, we were not able to provide you with an ironing board at around 20:00 when we received your request. We did offer to provide you with one as from 07:00hrs the next morning. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. All of our guests, regardless of nationality expect to find and taste real Greek food delicacies, that is the main reason why they have chosen our Hotel. Our cuisine can only be described as Greek and Mediterranean, with a truly large variety of Greek dishes on our daily evening buffet offering. On Saturdays you will find only Greek dishes actually, to complement our Greek evening entertainment with live Greek music and dancing. In reality we have an excellent reputation on the island of Kos, as one of the hotels with the highest guest satisfaction on our Greek dishes food quality and variety. All of our kitchen cook brigade, including the Head Chef is 100% Greek, with extensive experience of many years in Greek cooking. We believe that 20€ including taxes and service, is a fair price for the variety and quality of food which we are offering and - in line with international buffet service standards-, we have a fixed price regardless of how much or how little a guest may consume. Ottima la posizione a 7 Kilometri da Kos town. E' comunque necessario noleggiare un'auto per visitare le spiagge meravigliose a nord dell''isola (Paradise, Camel, Diamond, Agios Stefanos) distanti circa 25 Kilometri. Insufficiente la potenza del Wifi. Il tour operator al quale si appoggia l'hotel per le escursioni dei Clienti è parso poco professionale.

Fantastiskt hotell med bästa havsutsikten från vårt hotellrum. Jättebra frukostbuffé som innehöll allt vad vi önskade oss. Perfekt service från all personal. Wifi fungerade dock inte för oss och det var även svårt att ha kontinuerlig kontakt med det mobila nätverket. Det var det enda som inte får 10/10 Skulle gärna bo där igen, speciellt om detta med nätverket löser sig

Fin familieferie
Jeg og familien min har hatt 8 fine netter på Kos Palace, og vi er fornøyde med oppholdet. Hotellgjestene her har ganske høy snittalder, så alt foregår i rolige former. Litt lite å gjøre på hotellet utenom bar og basseng, for eksempel kan man ikke spille biljard etter det har blitt mørkt. Veldig bra standard på mat og renhold, over gjennomsnittet for området. Stort sett gode service-opplevelser også :) Hotellet anbefales!

Rustig aan zee buiten centrum, te wandelen naar Tigkaki. Wel behoorlijk gedateerd en oubollig. Ik heb nog nooit eerder in een hotel geslapen met douchegordijnen en als ik iets echt smerig vind, is dat het wel. Voor de prijs een teleurstelling!

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt neben dem Tigaki Strand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, insbesondere das Küchenpersonal. Es gab ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, das wirklich sehr lecker war. Zudem war es für uns sehr praktisch, dass das Hotel kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung gestellt hatte. In jedem Falle würde ich das Hotel nochmal buchen.

Posizione eccellente lungo la costa di Tigaki, a un quarto d'ora da Kos Town, facile da raggiungere sia lungo la Main Road che lungomare. La struttura si affaccia direttamente sul mare ma dispone anche di una comoda piscina da utilizzare quando il mare è particolarmente esposto ai venti. Da questa località è facile raggiungere ogni angolo dell'isola, anche la splendida Zia per godere di magnifici tramonti. Tutto gradevolissimo, dalla struttura al personale, receptionist (mitica Astrid!), portieri di notte e baristi. Ampie camere dotate di ogni confort e balconi vista mare. Colazion ricca e variegata. La struttura è tranquilla, consigliata per famiglie e per chi vuole tranquillità e comodi servizi. È possibile prenotare auto, bici, taxi o escursioni direttamente in hotel. Essendo un 4stelle sarebbe ideale poter usufruire di lettini in spiaggia gratuitamente, ad oggi non è ancora possibile. Bellissima idea la libreria in sala hall lasciati dagli ospiti dell'hotel, peccato che i libri siano solo in tedesco..

Ottima posizone per girare l'isola in macchina, pulito, colazione abbondante, personale gentilissimo. le pecche : la tenda della doccia era troppo corta e si allagava il bagno, per 2 notti è andata via la luce. ci tornerei volentieri

Wir hatten eine Suite und nur Frühstück gebucht. Sehr gepflegte Anlage, das Zimmer war sehr sauber, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet und das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. In den Ort Tigaki läuft man ca 25 min, Bushaltestelle um nach Kos zufahren ist direkt vorm Hotel. Wir hatten ein Auto gemietet und haben die Insel erkundet. Tigaki ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden und das Hotel würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön. Sandstrand, flach abfallend mit einigen Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen ist durch eine übersichtliche Durchgangsstrasse von der Anlage entfernt.

Albergo gradevole su una spiaggia inesistente
L'albergo si trova all'estrema periferia di Tigaki ed è affacciato su una striscia di mare assolutamente sottile, quasi inesistente nonostante siano posizionati una fila di 5 o 6 ombrelloni (credo al costo di 3 euro compresi lettini). Sicuramente le spiagge ed il mare di Kos riserva altri posti meravigliosi in altre località (soprattutto nel golfo di Kefalos a sud ovest). Il Kos Palace è un'ottima base di partenza per visitare la città di Kos (a soli 7 KM) e altri punti dell'isola, pertanto è necessario dotarsi di un mezzo di trasporto proprio (moto o auto) . L'albergo è dedicato a clientela nordeuropea di mezza età, risultando tranquillo (quasi un adults only) per lo meno nella seconda settimana di settembre in cui sono stato in vacanza. Le camere sono semplici ma abbastanza confortevoli, un po' buie risultano quelle fronte montagna (le chiamano vista giardino) dotate di aria condizionata, e frigorifero libero (non c'è alcuna dotazione iniziale, ma è apertamente dedicato ad acquisti anche provenienti dall'esterno) con cassaforte a pagamento. Wi Fi nonostante venga indicato come libero nelle stanze, funziona in modo molto scarso anche nelle aree comuni e per nulla in camera. La colazione, nonostante la nazionalità prevalente della clientela, risulta abbondante anche per gli italiani che prediligono il dolce. Nel complesso un buon albergo (forse con una stella di troppo)

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel seit vielen Jahren. Zimmer groß und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Schönes marmorbad. Meerblick von fast allen Zimmern. Poolanlage sauber und gepflegt. Strand in ein paar Schritten erreichbar. Tägliche Reinigung der Zimmer und Handtuchwechsel. Große Auswahl am abendbuffet. Täglich andere frische Speisen. Ob Suppe, Vorspeise, Hauptgericht oder Dessert. Sehr gutes Essen seit so vielen Jahren. Ein Traum. Große Auswahl auch für Vegetarier. Showcooking vom küchenchef persönlich. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Persönliche Begrüßung von der Chefin des Hotels.
