White Pearl Villas
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at White Pearl was genuinely astounding! Every single thing at this beautiful property was in its perfect place & tended to by friendly, helpful & all around top-notch staff. They seemed just as invested in our visit to Santorini as we were, especially the 3 front desk staff we had many enjoyable & helpful interactions. We were married at another location but stayed here, and setup in the Secret Suite, which the honeymoon suite. It has 4 different levels when counting the outdoor porches with stunning views, including its own private pool which overlooks the caldera—here you can also see Fira, Imerovigli & Oia, which these excellent accommodations are within quick walking distance of the latter. All manner of things you’d want to access begin directly adjacent to the property. There is a coffee shop just across the street from the front desk, right alongside that are a number of markets, restaurants, shops of all kinds, and all of this is along a walkway with an impeccable view of the caldera & Aegean Sea. Be prepared to walk up & down many stairs throughout the area, though the walkway which goes all the way to the scenic viewpoint at the end of Oia is largely ramps. That in mind, there were many stairs to reach our room at the villas as well, but the villas had a great baggage carrier to make this easy. We could not be happier with our stay at White Pearl, and recommend to anyone who seeks a luxurious & wonderful trip, as ours was an immaculate experience!"
GDM Megaron Historical Monument Hotel
8/10 Good
"We had a lovely stay at GDM Megaron. Our room was clean and comfortable with beautiful water views, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. The hotel staff was also very helpful in arranging transportation and in connecting me with local vendors for our excursions, which made planning our stay much easier. The location is convenient and within walking distance of several sites and restaurants, and the pool is lovely after a long day of sight seeing. Breakfast was not included with out stay, which would have been a nice addition. We also wished there were convenient dinner restaurant option at the hotel for evenings when we returned late from excursions. One thing to note--the elevator is VERY small! If you are claustrophobic, it may be a little uncomfortable, especially with luggage. So keep this in mind. Overall, GDM Megaron is a beautiful, clean hotel with great views, friendly and helpful staff, and in a convenient location. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."

"Excellent location and beautiful property"
Corfu Imperial, A Resort to Live
10/10 Excellent
"What a magical, special place. Pristine waters and sand beaches, hotel integrated into natural landscape, breathtaking designs, great food, many activities for adults and children, central enough location so you can easily get around the island if you’d like to leave the property, fantastic attentive staff, clean spacious rooms. Hotel was incredibly child friendly - we went with our 15 month old. (Our only request is a few ramps so it’s slightly more stroller accessible to get down to beach but staff helps carry strollers down the few stairs.) My family is eternally grateful for this magical eight nights we spent at the Corfu Imperial."

"A great resort, I would say it’s more of a 4 star and definitely focused on families. I believe it is too big to maintain a 5 star standard, as it missed the finesse that others show, more because of its struggles to cope with a large number of guests. The location is amazing, close to old town and all the bays. Swim up pool is good, the vent for the sewage was near ours, so you would get a whiff and I noticed some of the other swim up rooms didn’t even get the sun. I could have complained, but the hotel was that full, I couldn’t see what they would be able to do to fix this. The buffet was ok, nothing that stands out though, felt that the a la cartes were just the buffet plated up by someone else. The street food hub was ok but they always got the order wrong, so something to be aware of. A small thing, but how you judge a hotel quite quickly, no welcome drink and checking in felt more like a factory process. So if you are after a true 5 star experience, then maybe not, if you don’t like hearing kids, then maybe not but if you are after a high end 4 star in a great location and you have kids, then yes (if you get a good deal and not 5 star prices)."
