Dear Shona Wright Thank you for taking the time to write this review but for your three short day stay in the hotel you certainly made a lot of boy friends as you kept the security staff busy, although we had no complaints from other guests about noise as a result of the no drinking and no partying policy in the rooms we would all like to have you back as long as you respect hotels rules. As for the litter down the road it is not the Hotels fault but the council's who's garbage men were on strike.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review but you seem to have left out some facts. The room you originally booked was a budget room and then you had paid the extra to book into a standard Twin room, you made no mention of any issues in this room only that you were prepared to pay for an upgrade, these are this years new refurbished rooms and are not available online as some of the rooms still have the dark pine furniture. We also would like to correct the charge for an extra person you have quoted as 10EU, this is in fact 30EU. Furthermore security in the Hotel is an utmost importance and if we see person/s who are not registered in the hotel entering with or without suitcases they will be challenged regardless of color race or creed. In your case you had made no attempt to inform any of the Hotel staff you were bringing back a male individual carrying four suitcases back after midnight. Even now it still seems that four suitcases is a bit excessive for an overnight stay in a villa??, nevertheless your friend was asked several times to leave the premises but refused and you later claimed the security guard was being racist against black people, all I could see when I got there was not color but attitude. Please also note you had failed to mention you had vacated the room and left behind 3 pairs of shoes, the cleaners cleaned and removed the shoes and stored them in the hotels lost and found, you then had them returned when you remembered you had left them behind

Dear Samsta Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we hope next time you read the description as to what each room contains instead of looking for the cheapest price. The basic room you booked cost 30 euros per night and this was on a special price but this and the other charges you mentioned above are cheap for hotel standards including the 3 euro breakfast you complained about, the wi-fi is free in public areas but you wanted high speed wi-fi in your room and this is extra. We had also not charged you for the bed sheet you damaged as it was only the one so for a 30 euro room per night if there were any more things damaged the hotel would be making a loss. As you were of a young age we suggest you book a hostel next time as this would be more in your price range. Regards Teodora Manager

Good afternoon sir, The check-in list in the hotel is prepared the day before arrivals. Check-in time is after 2pm which is international standard. We were aware of your reservation. Before the check-in procedure we have staff who checks the rooms for spotless upon arrival. In the Expedia website it is written air conditioning is on extra charge and wifi is free on open public area pool and reception. Regarding linen you arrived on 11/6. Your towels were changed on the 12th and the sheets on the 14th. Cleaning of our room is done on daily basis. It' s never been brought to our attention that the staff of reception and the pool bar was inadequate. Check out procedure includes physical check of the rooms. Hotel Mariana is a big complex and it might take a few minutes especially when many rooms check out at the same time. Regarding the English people making noise and getting drunk it is ignorant and racist to use such characterisations for them. We had in our hotel in the past Italian people who were also noisy and partying. Help Desk operation hours are from 9 to 5. Reception is available 24 hours seven days a week. The 30-minute delay in the bar means that the bar was busy and other people had came before your order.
