Worst experience ever for a 5 star hotel
Its my worst trip so far. The room allocated to me was fly infested and a bird nest right in front of our door with bird poop all over the front of our room and the birds flying over our heads as we entered and left the room which made me very uncomfortable. I also had over 20 flies on the ceiling of the room. I requested for a room swap but was told it was impossible. This i did at about 3pm on friday and then 11pm. The first time i was told there wasnt any availability until the next day. Whan we got to the room later in the evening, i was accused of coming to later to complain so my room will have to be sprayed at past midnight after waiting for over an hour. Ibwas also offered a sister hotel at past midnight. Nothing was done until i brought out my phone to record. I didn't get any audience until about 2am and didn't do to bed until about 4am when they offered me a room. Porter even mentioned that i will be moved again after 2 nights and i said no. This is unacceptable and made my experience really unpleasant and was unsettled for the first 2 days.

This is a perfect hotel for solo travellers. I would definitely visit again but in early summer as the majority of the excursions, bars and boat trips were shut as it was approaching off season. This is definitely a 4* hotel (not 5* yet) I think the food in the main restaurant lets it down. Pro's: - Clean and tidy room and a lovely modern bathroom with daily house keeping. - Beachfront hotel with multiple pools, lounge area's and daytime/evening activities for all ages. - Excellent customer service from all staff *(Jeta, Andreas, Vasileios, Arland and Erion)* Cons: - Extremely difficult to get a booking at the A la Carte restaurants (I had to repeatedly speak to the restaurant management to get 1 on my final day). - 1 hour taxi ride/2 hour bus ride to the main Old town/Airport

Oh I have so much to say about this hotel it's literally unreal. Firstly I would like to start with the only positive which was most staff was really nice really friendly smiley and helpful few from the Crepe place was really annoying as they take order and forget about you and loads of people come and go and your still waiting then when it finally comes cause you get up and tell them they forget your knife and fork then they forget your drink I was very angry that day for the service they provided. There is also a young girl who smiles at you and as soon as she walks away gives a dirty look she saw me looking when she kept doing it. Next the rooms like its so bad that it was falling apart the sockets were coming off literally from the wall with our chargers. The toilet wouldn't flush there was ant infestation in the room everyday it was disgusting I found ant in the bed 3 times which made me itch all night. I called the front desk waited more then an hour no one showed then called again and told them i have been waitinf and not putting my son to sleep cause of them they came sprayed something which did not work. The hotek is not sound proof like I don't want to hear the couple upstairs having sex it was just disgusting and uncomfortable. The pool was all around the hotel which is a journey from one to the other which was not nice. It took us literally 10min to get to the main area everyday for food. Pools are small for the amount of people they have. The beach is not 2min

Not a 5 star hotel - 4 at best. Some areas were lovely - we had a nice, comfortable room etc. However, there are just not enough staff and those that are there are over worked (probably under paid) and not happy! That said, Entertainment staff worked very hard and were very friendly - the staff seemed to be trying their best but let down by senior management! It is a 20/30 minute queue for a drink at the bar in the evening. The A la carte restaurant are not fine dining but just the lunch time bars turned into areas to serve food prepared in the main kitchen. That said, Rhodes was lovely and location of the hotel is good.

A nice hotel but not 5 star by any means. Reception area is lovely but that is about all. Chlorine pool very noisy and dirty, salt pool has very very uncomfortable sun loungers and most are broken. You have to wake up at 6:30am to get a lounger for the day, not enough for the number of guests. Restaurants must be pre-booked before going otherwise you’ll be lucky enough to eat at an al-la carte. Some staff were lovely but the most we very moody and hardly smiled making it feel uncomfortable. We asked one how he was and his response was ‘I’m not good’. Towel drop is in the basement under reception so it’s far to go daily to change the towels especially if your room is at the top of the resort. Food was nice in the restaurants but the buffet was hit and miss. The que for drinks was always long and drinks were not 5 star, more like 2 or 3 star. Cheap cheap alcohol. Our room was clean but friends we met said they had ants in their room. Under the bed was very dusty and the cleaner didn’t make the bed properly everyday. Overall an ok hotel with nice views but it does not deserve 5 star. Wouldn’t go back.

Nice hotel but some improvement points
Overall, we had a nice stay at the hotel. We had the nicest room of the whole complex (Room 900) which was really great. It has a huge terrace with seaview. There is a new and an old part of the hotel. The new part including the main pool is really nice and stylish. The old part is really not living up to the 5 stars. This part is like a hotel from the 90ies. We would habe been devastated if they had placed us in that building. That is really not 5 star. The restaurants are all nice but all placed next to each other arround the two pools and a bit more ‘pool bar style’ than restaurants at least when you compare it to the pictures from the website. The food was very delicious though. Pizza on the beach, real espresso coffee, the creperie with freshly made pancakes and good cocktails were really some of the things that made it extra great. You need to book tables at the restaurants before you arrive to get seats! The buffet restaurant is very busy and noisy and has no atmosphere at all.

Room was nice and cleaned well every day. Check in was awful, absolutely no information given whatsoever, not even timings for breakfast etc. The hotel was extremely busy, not what we were expecting and due to this we could not get dinner reservations because unknown to us, you could pre book before arriving via the website!

Not enough public space, bad cocktails
Pro’s: The service was brilliant and the staff were amazing, the rooms were spacious and modern. Con’s: The food and drink is really not good, the cocktails were un drinkable I don’t know what they put in them but it’s one hell of a good way to stop you from getting your money’s worth out of the all inclusive. We ended up eating and drinking out more often because of it which isn’t really the point if you have all-inclusive food and drink. The hotel was full whilst we were there and they are not prepared for it, there is about 300 sunbeds across all areas of the hotel for all 400 rooms, so even if there was only 1 person on each room, you still wouldn’t get a sunbed. At all times in the day it was very crowded there isn’t enough public space, if the hotel was at half capacity It would have been much more relaxing. Queuing in a line of 30 people at the bar was not my idea of fun. The sunbeds are very old and most of them are broken, it looks like they are in the process of modernising the hotel, so half the hotel is very dated and the other half is much nicer. If you like all inclusives, you’re not much of a cocktail drinker and you’re used to the chaos of a full hotel you may like it. But for me it was really sub-par compared to similar priced hotels we have stayed in recently

Overall I would say it was enjoyable and we would stay here again, but there were a few areas which could do with improving. First and foremost was our room which had a pool. It was comfy, a nice size and a nice feel, but the pool light did not work and took nearly a week to be told this, so we were unable to enjoy this in the evening (if in room 550, beware). Also, guests, FYI - pools are all SALT WATER. The specialty restaurants were amazing, serving very tasty and well presented food. The only frustrating point for me was that guests are required to book their tables online (excl. the main eating hall), which, having discovered this on arrival, I found the first week was fully booked. Cancellations are available via Concierge, but recommend this is changed to make it fairer as I feel sorry for those who only go for a week and can't get a booking. Even rationing to give everyone a chance to visit every restaurant per week and not just first come first serve - people are paying enough for the accommodation! (this approached works in Cuban hotels, so why not here?) Night time entertainment. Although there is entertainment (which is okay), I noticed a lack of advertisement for these events, with the entertainers sometimes being selective of who they talk to when letting people know. Again, I feel for those who were never approached and made aware... just have a notice board or an online schedule! Would I stay here again if I travelled to Rhodes? Yes.

Disappointments
We had a lovely holiday but there were a few things that could have made it better. Could only get one booking in the restaurants during our whole stay, the top of our bath tap came off in our hand every time we turned it on, the fridge door didn’t close properly. Also I did email the hotel twice to upgrade our room after I had booked but had no reply so never got our upgrade.

Great resort, highly recommend!
This is a fantastic resort in many ways. The rooms are modern, beautiful, and clean. The facilities are perfect. The beach is great, as is the pool. Coacktails at the bar are good, and use high quality alcohol. Only two issues. The food at the Greek restaurant was quite poor, and the staff there very rude and unattentive. This was off set by the high quality of and options avalible at the buffet. If you want good greak food, wait for tge Friday at the buffet. Second issue was with the front desk. It was a bit chaotic and unorgainsed. It gave me a poor first impression when checking in. Thankfully, everything else was so good, that impression faded fast.

Lovely stay
Lovely, newly renovated room with good AC and WiFi. Buffet restaurant could have been better, but the other restaurants, which were also included in the all-inclusive were great, with lots of choice. 2 pools to choose from and nice beach, just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Hotels.com service is appalling
I didn’t stay there, they didn’t open until 28th may so moved us to Mitsis Alila which was fantastic. Hotels.com confirmed twice that we were not moving hotels so I can only thank Mitsis Alila for helping us. We lost out on £120 due to paying for transfers to the wrong hotel.

Nice friendly staff through all areas. Evening entertainment was good especially the Latin dancers and Greek dancers. Special shout out to Jack Sparrow look alike for always having a smile on his face and making everyone feel included. Plenty of food variety in main restaurant and the food at the Greek restaurant was excellent. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned ever day.

The stay started off with a rocky start, our original room had a pretty bad ant infestation and the hotel desk refused to give us a different room until I spoke with a manager. After being given a different room our experience was better and ant free. The hotel has tasty food and lots of activities for the whole day.

Amazing Holiday
I just came back this morning after the most amazing holiday! The hotel is so beautiful and not too far from the beach, lots of steps but there are golf buggies that the concierge can bring you to and from the locations in the resort. There is also a shuttle bus that goes to and from the beach. I just want to thank all of the amazing staff at the hotel. I have never been so well looked after and have met some wonderful people and made some great friends. I especially want to thank Valeria in the Animation team. She is such a wonderful person and so much fun. Everyone should do her exercise classes! They are so fantastic! I also want to mention Willy, Momo, Jack and Laurena on the Animation team. You guys work so hard and a a great team! Our favourite cocktail shaker was Giannis he was fab! The guys on the beach bar were very funny. There is just so much to mention about this wonderful place. The food was delicious and so much choice. I had the best time ever and will definitely be returning next year to see all my new found friends ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The best hotel i ever stayd in! The staff where nice and welcoming, the hotel was always clean eventhough it was fully booked. the food was great and there was a lot of it all day long. one thing i would seggest to improve is the availability of the resturants that requaires pre order, we almost couldn't try them because we came for 3 night and the resturants where reserved for the next three day's
