We stayed in room 2. Quiet room, even though located in the heart of Fira. Minutes away from everything: taxi and bus terminals, restaurants and cafés, and endless shopping. Would definitely stay again. 😊

Close to everything
We got there early but Jimmy made sure we were comfortable and got our room ready for us. It is only a short walk from the bus hub. The shopping and sunset trail is right across the street. Lots of restaurants right in front. Highly recommended! Would stay there again.

The location of the hotel couldn’t be more perfect, offering breathtaking views of the iconic Santorini landscapes. Waking up to the mesmerizing sunrise and relaxing with the stunning sunset was truly unforgettable. What made my stay even more special was the exceptional hospitality provided by the host Christina and Jimmy. They were incredibly attentive to the guests’ needs and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The hotel itself had a charming and cozy ambiance. Even though the room was a little smaller than we expected, it was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploration. We highly recommend Platia hotel!

Enjoyable Hotel.
The hotel is nice, very clean and it's right in the middle of the action. Though this hotel is not on the cliff overlooking the caldera, it's very close by.

AMAZING!!
This place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The location: could not have been more perfect. Half way between the cliffs and the bus stop. Right above the main shops. Made getting everywhere so easy. Literally all you had to do was step outside. The room: SPARKLING CLEAN. The bed was so comfortable. The AC worked amazingly. The bathroom was roomy and the rainfall shower was the best thing to ever happen to me. The balcony was perfect and was a great place to people watch while eating the gelato we bought across the street. Surprisingly not noisey at all and we could sleep very well even being so close to the action. The host: I cannot say enough good things about the host here. Upon check in- which was very easy- we found we had left our wallet in the transfer. Our host called around to all of the transfer companies and even THE POLICE and ended up helping us find the wallet!!! We would have been completely lost without her and we can’t thank her enough. You want someone like this helping your vacation!! Overall, this was the perfect place to stay. In budget, close to everything, clean, comfortable. If you are debating this at all, don’t. Book it!

Excellent little hotel!
Hotel Platia is a great little escape from the busyness of Santorini with a wonderful welcome. The location is outstanding, but it was very quiet, the compact room was very nicely done had everything we could have wanted, it was spotlessly clean, and we enjoyed the view from the rooftop patio and being away from the crowds. Christina makes you feel like a guest in her home; actually it really was her in-laws home before being made into a hotel. Very highly recommended.

One Night in Fira
This was a perfect one-night stop in Santorini. We booked it last minute because our ferry was canceled and we had to stay on the island an additional night. Christine (the owner) was the MOST accommodating, and truly fantastic. She helped us with everything, and could not have been more lovely. We didn't end up spending the night because we got on an earlier boat- and she made checking out quickly very easy as well. Highly recommend!

It’s the best location in Fira. Right on the square with all the shops and restaurants. 5 minutes walk to the bus terminal that can bring you to all major sights. Christina is extremely helpful, the great host. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, great choice for visiting Santorini.

Definitely recommended!
Although Platia is located right in the middle of the main square, it is not noisy at all during the night for our stay! Many eateries and shops are conveniently located around the area. Bus and taxi terminals are reachable by a few minutes walk. Cosy and clean room with awesome amenities. Wonderful hosts!

Platia is essentially a boutique hotel at a very competitive price + Service is excellent and on par, if not better, than some 5 Star hotels + Large amount of amenities in-room (coffee machine, ironing board, lint roller, mini bar, usb charging ports, etc) + Location is excellent, a few meters away from the main square in Fira and just a few minutes from the main bus station

Christina is such a lovely host! I bothered her with numerous emails before my departure and she was always keen to reply to every email. We came in very last and she waited for us till the mid-night. She gave us information about the island and she offered us a map. And we got 2 free eggs and bottle water, juice from her everyday! The room was clean and tide, the hotel was located in the town so we were not worry about safety issue and the restaurant opens till 2pm. Highly recommend for travelers to come! 5 stars for hospitality!

The best room
To be honest, this is the best room I have stayed so far, in terms of location, cleanliness, price, warmth of reception, and design of the room. I would definitely choose it again if I visit santorini next time. Although there are not many rooms in this company, it is the embodiment of the rationale of quantity over quantity.

Platia is in a perfect location not far from from bus station. Modern hotel with helpful friendly staff. Sweets, coffee and eggs were left everyday for us, as well. Very good wifi.

Value for money suites minutes from caldera view
We find the room clean, well appointed and more than adequate for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the warm, ambient lighting was a nice, tasteful touch. We slept like babies despite having a busy restaurant below. During the 4D3N we were there, we received daily replenishment of complimentary coffee capsules, packet juices, pastries and even raw eggs. Having a Bosch coffee maker and a WMF egg cooker was a welcomed plus. On one of the days, we were pleasantly surprised when we saw a delicious chocolate cake on the table, beckoning us to chomp it down. What a nice touch! The stand-out for Platia has to be the exceptional service. Christina and Maria will overwhelm you with their warmth and hospitality, not to mention all the pertinent information you need to make for a memorable stay. We highly recommend Platia without hesitation. This value-for-money luxury in the heart of Fira is mere minutes from the stunning caldera view and the central bus terminal.

Easy to get to location & Sweet Home Feeling
Super convenient location, some could complain that it's noisy from the main street. but it wasn't big deal for us once we close the terrace door. I felt very safe even at night because of that main street location. Maria & Christina, the owners of the hotel, are so kind & sweet and willing to help with anything. They do make you feel at home. If I ever go back to Santorini, I will definitely stay at Platia again.

Great small hotel in the center
The hotel is 3 or 4 rooms plus reception on the roof. Rooms are new, tastefully decorated, have mini fridge, safe, coffee machine, egg cooker. Nice little extra things like welcome cake or two fresh eggs every morning. Rooms have deck/balcony with table and chairs. Convenient location in the town center close to restaurants, shops, museum, bus station. 3-4 minutes walk to a supermarket. Absolutely fantastic staff, super friendly, treat you as a friend. Wi-fi worked alright, no issues with streaming. Nothing really to complain about, very good value for money.

Great hotel with central location
We had an amazing stay at Platia in Santorini! The location is perfect - right in the center of the island's main town, Fira, close to restaurants and the main bus station. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and nice little patio. The room was stocked with water, juice, coffee, tea, and pastries every day. The staff was extremely helpful with providing recommendations for activities and restaurants and making us feel at home. Would highly recommend this as a great place to stay in Santorini!
