There is nothing not to like about the entire Villa di Mare complex. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, it was a glorious stay of luxury and relaxation. The room we had was a Premier Suite with Private Pool and Sea View, and whilst the main pool was absolutely stunning, we didn't use it due to our room and pool being so beautiful and exclusive. The bar serves up the most beautiful cocktails, absolute kudos to the bar team for these genius creations. The restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way - genuinely one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had in my life. I could talk for days about how incredible my stay was at Villa di Mare, but instead I will just say that if you are reading this...don't think twice, just book it. You won't find anywhere even close in Rhodes, or maybe even the whole of Greece.

This place was an absolute dream! We stayed in a charming little bungalow with our own private pool, which our daughter loved!! The views are breathtaking, the staff is attentive and very kind, and the bar has tasty unique cocktails (even non alcoholic for the little ones) This place just might be our favorite hotel ever. We will be back someday, until then we will dream about it.

Smoking allowed throughout the property. Which is horrendous when you’re having breakfast. Air conditioning units are very noisey. Very dated. Wonderful bar tender in the evening. Very close to a lovely beach club/ taverna called Maestro

Not 5 star by any means. More 3 star. Staff great, restaurant great but rooms more 3 star. Ants in room. Decking around main pool worn out. Private pool had green mould around it, patio dirty just everything tatty and in need of an upgrade. I was told there were newer parts of the hotel and reception was lovely but the bungalows not so good

It was a wonderful stay. We loved it. Is a great place to stay, with direct access to the ocean and a fantastic pool. Staff was very responsive, in a timely manner. The view of the sunset from the room, and from the bar and restaurant was exquisite. Food was very tasty and flavorful. And made with fresh local ingredients . The cocktails to be enjoyed while watching the sunset — really to die for 😊 we will be back for sure ❤️ One of the best stays we had in Greece! ❤️❤️❤️

A great hotel with helpful friendly staff
The hotel is nice and in a good location. Fabulous pool and fantastic sea views. Spectacular sunsets! This is Greece and some things don't get done quickly.... The elevator was not working for our entire stay as they were waiting parts! But the staff were always happy to help so we managed without the elevator.

Bra boende med nära till det mesta.
Mycket trevlig personal och god mat. Bra pool med poolbar/mat. Lagom med folk. Nära till strand och restuaranger. Taxi till Rhodos stad tar 5min (10€) eller så går man men det tar ca 30-40 min.

A NIGHTMARE! BUGS AND HORRIBLE SERVICE!
My friend and I had been so excited for this stay for a very long time. When we arrived, we weren't really satisfied with our room, because it didn't look like the pictures. But it was first until we were lying by the pool that we really felt that we had been fooled. Loud party music from noon until midnight by the pool AND the pool was open to the public, so there was a lot of people! Not very satisfying, when you have paid a lot of money to stay at a 5-star hotel... where everyone else can enter as well. We then talked to hotels.com, and afterwards the managers of the hotel… which were SO RUDE! I had to go through two big and LOUD discussions in the lobby with two adult managers, who couldn't even say sorry for the bad experience we have had. And whenever I said that the music was too loud or the room wasn't satisfying, they would just argue against me and say that I was wrong. - I wouldn't call that customer service, let alone 5 star (!?) hotel service!? Finally, we talked with the owner of the hotel, who wanted to help, but only wanted to give 1/4 of the price we had paid to find a new hotel. We ended up getting another "pricier" room because it was too expensive for us to pay for another hotel. Instead we ended up having BIG COCKROACHES and bedbugs/fleas instead! Faeces from cockroaches by the plates in the kitchen! We finally got a new (an actual 5 STAR hotel and service) hotel in the city through hotels.com. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

Dear guest we are sorry about your response. Since you decided to make your untrue experience online we had to respond. Twenty minutes since the moment you arrive at the hotel at 15.00, you had send a comment at expedia that that the music is loud at night. "At night" when you had not even spend a night yet and then you started asking for upgrade and free meal and everything else you believed you can get with a complain and a treat for a bad review. We changed your room at your pleasing and then you mentioned you found cockroach. In the twelve years that we operate no one has ever found one since we do all the necessary disinfestations more than regularly. And you requested a room with private pool. We moved you but we mentioned that the room is only available for one night and then you will have to go back to your original booking. Obviously you wouldn't want to go back to the "cheapest" suite and requested to find you another hotel. Our own owner spend two hours trying to help you out and then you did not want to leave because you realised that you couldn't find another five star hotel at this price. Since your new complain could not be met we are here now. You have all the characteristics of a "professional complainer". Our legal department suggested a law suit but we so far decided not to proceed. For you it is only a review, but for us a lifetime of hard work and years of trying to meet and exceed customers' expectations and make the best for our guests. Our years of excellent reviews can prove that. It is unfair for us and to the other guests.
