"Such a wonderful, beautiful, Unique property. Can't say how much I LOVED "camping" there. (I put camping in quotes because its more like GLAMPING.) Everything you could possibly need to go camping is already there. The little A frame for sleeping was perfect. Mattress was cozy and comfortable. It is right on a lake that is great for canoeing. There is another lake about 5 minutes down the road that is the MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKE that has amazing swimming. Ask the owner for directions. The owner is amazing. Very communicative. Very helpful. Very kind. We are definitely doing back to stay on July the 4th. Such a perfect time to be there. Very thankful we found that place. The owner is a peach. Super sweet. 😀"

"This place is a beautiful slice of peace and tranquility. The house is perfect and accommodating for either a small group or larger one. Scott had a nice supply of little necessities if you did not bring something yourself. The house sits right on the lake. Gorgeous !!There’s kayaks and life vests to use. We saw and heard loons ever day as well into the evening. We saw bald eagles, hummingbirds, kingfishers, cormorants and mergansers ! We had great views to sunrises, sunsets and the the Milky Way ! We rode our bikes on the roads around the area and caught an eagle just hanging out in the tree tops. We rented a boat and they delivered to the boat launch which was a quick drive back to the house is the lake. We did Acadia NP, gorgeous and realized 1 day was not enough. The drive to gas/groceries is not far at all."

"The house was beautifully done with a gorgeous view of the lake. The place had several areas for us to gather as a family depending on whether we wanted to eat on the porch looking at the lake, toast marshmallows in the wood fire pit, read by the outdoor gas pit, or watch TV. The house is well cared for and had those extra touches you want in a kitchen of a vacation rental (e.g. plastic wrap, salt and pepper). The area was very quiet and we enjoyed the wind in the trees, ducks on the lake, and a bald eagle spotting. We took advantage of the two kayaks and got out on the lake a few times. Every day we headed into Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor for an activity and lunch and then enjoyed happy hour and dinner at the house. I would recommend this place for small families who want a peaceful, nature-oriented Maine vacation."
