This was a nice stay! My room was very spacious, and much nicer than I'd expected for the price. The breakfast was above average for hotel continental breakfast. Overall I'd say this hotel exceeded expectations!

The staff at the Hampton in Irwin were excellent considering that a bad storm left the area without power which did not return until about 10pm our last night there. We also had no hot water! Staff hooked a Keurig to temporary power so we could have coffee in morning and found ice to keep eggs and yogurt cold for breakfast along with cereal and pastries. They also provided the few people who stayed with snacks and bottled water and juices. We went out and bought a pack of flashlights so we had light in our bathroom and sleeping areas. We are seniors so the hardest part for us was having to carry our suitcases up 3 floor. We Kept a positive attitude and co.pared it to glamping!

This was my 2nd visit to this property and this stay was just as nice, though shorter. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the room was clean and the bathroom lighting was great. Our room was a few floors over the outdoor area, which people were enjoying, so it's nice that people can socialize other than in the lobby. I didn't have breakfast, but I passed the area it was in, and it looked nice. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn. (I was in town for an event in Murrysville and I chose to go 30 mins east and out of my way to stay here rather than in Monroeville!)
