We had an excellent stay in this lovely cottage in a small place in the Perigord Noir. It was very clean, we had lots of space and everything we needed. The location is very quiet, but very well located: all necessary shops just a few minutes walk away, the Dordogne river including canoe hiring also just a few minutes walk away. Half an hour walk for the local lake. Lots of gardens, castles, medieval towns and of course prehistoric sites to visit in this amazing area. Communication with the proprietor was extremely responsive, friendly and straightforward. Highly recommended.

Maison bien située dont l'annonce précise 2 terasses mais 1 seule est exploitable ( pommes tombées non ramassées attirant les guêpes), problème d'évacuation d'eau dans la salle de bain et fuite d'eau dans les WC. Pas d'état des lieux à la remise des clés en arrivant ni en repartant, entraînant des problèmes d'objets cassés après la fin de location. Facturation abusive : Salon de jardin en plastique facturé 150 euros à tord parce qu'il était déjà cassé...... Pris 14 jours après la fin de sejour avec l'empreinte de la carte bancaire.

Maison ancienne en pierre de la région et poutres apparentes. A notre arrivée, l'écoulement de l'eau du lavabo et de la douche se faisant doucement, après en avoir informé le propriétaire, nous avons opté de mettre aussitôt du Déstop. Produit que le propriétaire nous a proposé de nous rembourser. Propriétaire à l'écoule si soucis. Passé ce petit incident, le séjour s'est bien passé. maison en pierre spacieuse - où il y fait frais par temps de canicule - dans laquelle il ne manque rien tant en ustensile qu'en aliment de première nécessité. Merci au propriétaire pour leur prévenance. - idéalement située à 10 km au sud de Sarlat tous ces points sont très appréciables.

Das Haus ist gut gelegen, in der Nähe der Hauptstraße, trotzdem ruhig. Kleiner Supermarkt und Bäckerei fussläufig. Kanuverleih in der Nähe. Das Haus ist in den Fels gebaut, so dass es nachts relativ kühl bleibt.

We really enjoyed our stay in this rather quirky place. It's a great old stone building located in the small village of Grolejac. There is a small supermarket, boulangerie and charcuterie just steps away as well as a farmer fruit stand and several restaurants. The river is also just a 5 minute walk. We liked the property; we stayed during a heat wave when the temperatures were reaching the upper 30s during the day. We just left the windows open at night and closed up when we left for the day and returned to a cool house. Nice amenities; it's an older place with squeaky floors but that really adds to the charm. Lots of space to relax and spread out in. The outside areas also looked great but we didn't use them due to the heat. Good communication with the owner Benoit and Mrs. R who helped us get settled in.

De woning is gelegen in een dorpje voorzien van een kleine supermarkt, bakker en slager en ligt aan een rustig straatje waar geen verkeer doorheen gaat. Het huis is mooi gerenoveerd met behoudt van de oorspronkelijke details. Was voor ons even wennen, nadat we de weken ervoor in een modernere woning verbleven, maar we voelden ons snel thuis. Het terras onder de appelboom is heerlijk. Het huis zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer ruim. Het was erg warm tijdens ons verblijf, maar de muren houden de woning koel. En een duik in het vlakbij gelegen meer is ook heerlijk. La Table de Marais is een fijn plekje om 's avonds een keer te dineren. (vergeet ook Pirates du Perigord niet, bijzonder plekje) De woning is centraal gelegen en veel bezienswaardigheden - en dat zijn er veel - liggen op korte rijafstand. Een week was te kort om alles te kunnen zien en doen. Een tweetal verbeterpuntjes willen wij benoemen namelijk de mogelijkheid om in het huis afval te scheiden ontbreekt en het stapelbed sliep wel goed, maar voelde een beetje benauwd. Verder hebben wij heerlijk genoten en moeten wij zeker een keer terug komen om meer van de omgeving te kunnen ontdekken.

Un séjour superbe. Une maison authentique et chaleureuse, idéalement placée. Un bon spot de départ, proche de Sarlat (15mn), Lascaux (30mn), Padirac (45mn), beaucoup de châteaux à quelques minutes seulement. Amoureux de la pierre et de la nature, vous êtes ici au bon endroit.

Charmante maison, idéalement située pour visiter la région, bien équipée : on s'y sent vite comme chez nous! L'accueil de Mme Rodriguez est très chaleureux et Mr Lubin est très agréablement attentif! Petit bémol : les escaliers pour y accéder qui ne sont mentionnés nulle part...cela peut être une surprise très gênante pour les personnes âgées ou ayant des soucis de santé (plâtre à un membre inférieur, articulations douloureuses, fragilité cardiaque par ex). La maison est bien située (10 km de Sarlat) bien aménagée et très bien équipée. Le charme de cette maison en pierre, typique de la région, a ajouté de la douceur à notre séjour. Notre seul regret est que la pluie nous ai empêché de profiter du calme d'une des 3 terrasses. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Un gîte avec beaucoup de charme et typique du Perigord. Très bonne localisation à proximité de la Dordogne (canoë) et des pistes cyclables, mais aussi de Sarlat et de Domme, ainsi que la présence de quelques commerces. Le plus de cette maison à notre avis : le calme et les 2 grandes terrasses, l'une ombragée et l'autre au soleil.

Cette très jolie maison en pierres du pays a non seulement beaucoup de charme avec ses beaux volumes, sa grande cheminée à l'ancienne et ses parquets mais elle est aussi très bien équipée, agencée et décorée. Le fait de pouvoir disposer de 2 terrasses permet de choisir l'exposition idéale en fonction de l'heure de la journée. Située dans le bourg de Groléjac, nous avons pu nous rendre à pied aux commerces tous proches, tout en étant au calme, dans une ruelle en second rang par rapport à la route. La Dordogne est à 200m, avec 2 bases de canoës pour partir en balade. La situation de Groléjac est idéale, ce qui nous a permis de visiter Sarlat, Domme, les châteaux qui longent la Dordogne mais aussi de faire une escapade dans le Quercy, avec Rocamadour à moins d'une heure de route.

Nous avons passé 10 jours en famille dans ce gîte idéalement situé pour découvrir la vallée de la Dordogne et les châteaux alentours. L'équipement du gîte est globalement complet (électroménager, ustensiles de cuisine et lit parapluie) même si l'on peut regretter l'absence de chaise haute. Pour le reste, rien à redire sur les prestations proposées et, point très positif, le gîte conservait une température très agréable en dépit des fortes chaleurs du fait de sa disposition (bâti à flanc de montagne). On reviendra !
