Great place to stop overnight

Meteorite Rest Camp is on a commercial farm which makes it totally different from other places we stayed at. We met the friendly owner Madelein and her husband, and heard a bit about life there. In the evening 1000s of red-billed quelia birds roost just the campsite, amazing to see. At night it's total silence with a clear sky for the stars. The chalet was a good size and comfy with a kitchenette. The pool was great to cool down in the afternoon.

The place is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are clean and inviting. The host are are very friendly and helpful.I would really recommend this place. It has a big swimming pool to cool off in after a long hot day.
