"This hotel is in a great location. You can’t ask for anything more central and with an easy walking distance to all of the public transit. The rooms were fine. The view was great, but the check-in process was not very easy. Arrived 15 minutes before 4 PM. Had to stand in line to check in only to find out the room was not ready. Had to wait another 15 minutes, the staff tried very hard, but had to wait on housekeeping."

"The property was small, but neat. Parking was minimal and in a VERY tight covered area. The outside of the property looked kind of shabby. The check in was strange-done via monitor and camera. It was a live person, they just weren't physically in that location. It was kind of neat that our conversation showed up on the screen as we spoke, like closed captioning. There were actual staff people at the front desk, but they were there to get things like ice buckets or more towels. They were friendly. The building was all strange angles and everything in the room was the same. There was no regular corner, everything was slanted. Overall, the stay was fine. It was quiet. And we got it for a decent price. You do pay extra for parking though.."

"Beach towels & chairs provided! Made for an easy beach day & walk a block to the spectacular Lake Michigan. Shiny new bathrooms made it comfortable for multiple guests, excellent support from hosts as lock box had been moved, but they responded in minutes to direct me to new location. Great layout for family chilling & grilling!"

"Loved this home in Rogers Park! We came from a recommendation from a friend that stayed with their family last summer and it lived up to the hype! Had tons of space, and a fully stocked kitchen. I was also glad the dinning area and living room had ample seating. Sometimes a place will sleep 8 or so, but only had dinning and living room space for half that. Also had an office space in the front room, that connected via doorway to the living room and one of the bedrooms which was very handy. We enjoyed a quick walk to the beach, Leone and Loyola, and the little bluebird cafe was great for casual food for our family. There was also a great playground next to the cafe. We traveled with our 13 and 9 year old and also meet up with their cousins ( 6 and 15 months) and the beach/playground situation was great! The front porch was also a favorite place to hang! Getting downtown was a bit of ordeal, but we knew it would be. From our experience, that’s just Chicago. If you want to spend a lot of time downtown, a hotel right downtown would be the way to go, but if you want a roomy place to spread out, enjoy the beach, and be a quick drive to places like Andersonville for the shops and restaurants, this was a great homebase!"

"I only have 3 small things to mention about this rental that I think could be improved (keeping in mind if they didn't change anything, it would still be very nice)!1. The parking garage directions talk about the elevator being at the end, but it is actually 6 spots to the right of your spot. It would be easier to state that explicitly I think. 2. The garbage can slams a little when you open and close it. I think something might be wrong with the soft close mechanism. I just used my hand to open and close it softly, but it took 8 or 9 times of slamming it before I internalized that.3. The bedroom can be pretty bright. The blinds help, but they don't shut out all the light. If you are someone who needs a dark room to sleep in (maybe you have a small kid that goes to bed early or something), you might consider a different rental. If bright mornings don't bother you, this one is a non-issue then!Other than those things, I think this rental was exactly what we were expecting it to be, and I would say it is worth the money!"
