## Emplacement
Located on the Island of Beauty, in the department of Corse-du-Sud, the commune of Grosseto-Prugna takes place in the Taravo, about thirty kilometers south of Ajaccio. This seaside resort faces the island capital, on the southern shore of its gulf.

Populated since the Gallo-Roman era, the municipality of Grosseto-Prugna has a rich and fascinating history. Once populated by the Genoese and victim of Barbaric assaults between the sixteenth and seventeenth century, it has become over time a mecca of Corsican tourism.
