Top Groton Hotel Reviews

The Statler Hotel at Cornell University

10/10 Excellent

"Clean and convenient location. Valet was easy and quick. Nightly price was very expensive however."

La Tourelle Inn & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The property was beautiful, the room was spacious and well-maintained, and we loved the lounge area. We enjoyed delicious dinner and drinks after arriving on a rainy night and not wanting to get back out to go into town. We also sat by the cozy fire in the lobby before heading to bed. A perfect romantic getaway!"

Ithaca Marriott Downtown on the Commons

8/10 Good

"I really wanted to give this hotel a five-star rating. Unfortunately, I was assigned a room with a connecting door, and the young guys staying next door were extremely noisy, yelling and screaming on and off until 4:00 AM. When I first complained around 1:30 AM, the front desk kindly sent up earplugs and asked the guests next door to keep their voices down. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to care, and the noise continued. At that point, I didn’t bother calling again. My only advice to future guests is to avoid connecting rooms whenever possible, as you never know who might be staying next door. It’s unfortunate that an otherwise pleasant stay was affected by inconsiderate neighbors. I appreciated the front desk’s efforts, but it was still a very disappointing night."
