- NOTE that this is lakefront, but not waterfront (40ft bluff to lake) - access to lake is 0.25 mile away but there is boat trailer parking at this house.
- You and your family/friends MUST be dog-friendly! You will be greeted by the neighborhood dogs occasionally, but they are used to all ages, up-to-date on their vet visits and very friendly (but nosy)! Read below for more info.
- Your pets are family too! Fenced-in backyard, pets allowed in the house. Pet fee is $20/per night (not per pet).
- Not handicap friendly due to tri-level stairs.
- Nearby neighbors - this is in a quiet suburb on a dead-end road in the outskirts of Grove, but you will still have close neighbors.

Enjoy being surrounded by nature in a very quiet suburb neighborhood in the outskirts of Grove, OK - yet still 5 minutes driving from small town Grove. Lounge on one of the location’s two decks with the amazing view of Whitewater Creek cove on a 40ft bluff, where the only noise you’ll hear from the lake is the fisherman boats and abundance of animals. Many kinds of birds (ducks, storks, occasional spotting of bald eagles!) live or migrate into this cove, and you’ll spot beavers and maybe even a fox on the bluff so bring binoculars. The backyard includes a grill, firepit, chairs and tables.
This place faces the east from the backyard, so we have beautiful sunrises to enjoy from the decks. During the time of the full moon, we have amazing moon rises as well!
The inside of the tri-level is charmingly decorated and has a full kitchen with all of the cooking capabilities. Each bedroom contains a queen bed and tv. The living room is equipped with a 6 chair dining table and 2 couches, loveseat and 60” tv.
This place is perfect for families due to the quiet neighborhood (dead-end road, so only local traffic!) and lake/river area.
We are located only 10 miles away from Mid-America Outdoors - this is a great option for those who want to go to Mid-America, but be outside of the action in a quieter place.

VERY IMPORTANT TO READ FIRST BEFORE YOU BOOK:

DOG FRIENDLY PLACE - the renter and the renter's pets MUST be friendly with other cats and dogs. The neighborhood dogs and cats frequent this place (outside of the house only, not inside!). The neighborhood dogs are not required to be on leashes (out of city limits), so if you are not a dog person this place is NOT recommended! These dogs are very friendly and used to people of all ages, but they are still animals that will need to be respected.
***A meeting when you first arrive with the neighbor's dogs may be necessary so you and your pets can feel comfortable around the dogs! This can be easily arranged with property manager or owner.

NO ACCESS TO LAKE - due to the 40ft bluff, this makes access to the lake dangerous.

NO DOCK - there is room for parking a boat trailer on the property, and lake access and the nearest boat ramp is 0.25 miles away from house at "Snider's Camp."

NEARBY NEIGHBORS - this is a duplex, and each side is rented separately. You will have neighbors. The other unit is not for short term rent currently. Also, the other inhabitants in houses around you have been living here for a long time, please be respectful!

NOTE that children under the age of 8-10 need to be supervised at all times while in the backyard due to the 40ft bluff - there is fencing but it could be easily climbed out of.

SLEEPS 6 IN 3 QUEENS - but more guests are welcome at no extra charge. There is space in the living room for blow up beds (not provided) and there are 2 full couches.

NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY - his house has a lot of stairs, and you can only access the bedrooms and living room by stairs.

CURRENTLY NO USE of the garage, except other than access to washer/dryer.

Remodeled in 2021, this duplex house is built on a 40ft bluff overlooking the Whitewater Creek cove of Grand Lake O' the Cherokees. This booking is for 1 of the 2 units of the duplex, both sides are rented out separately. The 2 units are separated by 2 garages and are very well insulated and have no access inside to each other. The backyard space is divided with a privacy fence - the backyard area that is pictured belongs ONLY to renters of Unit 2; the balconies, firepit, outdoor seating area is all private to Unit 2.

Bedroom 1: "Travel Room" Queen Bed, full bathroom, balcony, large closet, smart TV | Bedroom 2: "Cactus Room" Queen Bed, smart TV, closet. | Bedroom 3: "Pineapple Room" Queen Bed, NO TV, closet.

Living room: 60" Smart TV, 2 couches, 1 loveseat. 6 chair dining table.

Kitchen: small table and 2 chairs, refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, cooking pans and pots, mixer, spatulas, utensils, plates, coffee cups, glass cups, bowls, paper towels, trash bags.

Garage: no access to park.

Washing machine/dryer: located in garage.

OUTDOOR SPACE: front porch with small table and chairs, backyard 2 decks, 1 deck connected to 2nd level master bedroom, 1 deck on bluff. Tables and furniture. Firepit ring with tree stump chairs (s'mores are life). Divided by a privacy fence. The balconies, firepit, and outdoor seating area is all private to Unit 2.

GENERAL: keyless entry, white linens/towels provided (washed/bleached between all renters), ceiling fans, central air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, extra soap/shampoo/lotion.

PARKING: Driveway (fits 3 vehicles comfortably but more can line up down driveway), trailer or boat trailer parking allowed on-site. Shared driveway, ONLY park on Unit 2 side of house (left side when facing the house from the road)

** If you want to be in the water but you're not a lake person, there is a beautiful river to rent rafts/canoes/kayaks located 30min away in Noel, MO! Some floating rental companies include Elk River Floats, River Ranch and Two Sons.
