The Woodsy Hideaway is located in the private gated community of Pine Mountain Lake in Groveland, California, offering accommodations for 8 people. On the main floor, enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and a full bathroom with double sinks. The Upstairs boasts a large bedroom (1 queen & 2 twin beds), en-suite bathroom, a spacious kid-friendly loft equipped with TV, DVD player & movies, ideal for board games, and puzzles. Free WiFi included.

Enjoy the expansive views of the Sierra Nevada mountain landscape on the large deck, along with a view of Pine Mountain Lake in the distance. Take a short walk for a dip in the pool, dine at The Grill or play a round of golf - all just a short walk from the front door. The Woodsy Hideaway is a 3 minute drive to Dunn Court Beach - just one of three beaches on the lake. Yosemite National Park is a quick 26 miles to the entrance and another scenic 23 miles to Yosemite Valley.
Groveland is a historic mining town, and also home to a great downtown that includes a park, library, museum, shops, restaurants and the Iron Door Saloon. It is said to be California's oldest continuously operating saloon. Nearby attractions include Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Hetch Hetchy, Mariposa Grove, Lake Don Pedro, Mercer Caverns, Columbia State Park and the historic areas of Sonora & Jamestown. You can reach many of the historical landmarks within 45 to 90 minutes.

I stayed at this mountain retreat for 2 days with 4 other family members. Directions to get there were accurate. The host communicated with us well and sent all instructions we needed The place was clean, cozy and comfortable. There were deer that visited in the backyard each morning and were delightful to see. I would love to stay here again if I visit.

Can’t stay away

This was our 3rd stay at the Hideaway Cabin. The Hideaway is one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in. From the views, to the amenities to the comfy beds everything is always perfect. This trip we went to Yosemite, jumped from the high ledges at the Rainbow Pools, stuffed ourselves full of ice cream from the mercantile and watched the PML fireworks. I cannot recommend this cabin more!

Yosemite Getaway

The house itself was spotless and cozy, with all the necessary amenities. The hosts put a lot of thought into making their guests feel welcome, providing everything from comfortable bedding to a fully equipped kitchen. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area, where I could relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy the peaceful setting. Enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here while visiting Yosemite and really enjoyed the house and the area. We did not explore the lake or any of the other amenities in the neighborhood but the area is very nice. It was nice to have items sich as ice chest, beach towels, etc. to ise ruring our stay. The beds are firm but we all slept like babies. We all agreed that we would definitely stay there again.

Great Thanksgiving Getaway

This was a great house for our family of five. We had a great time hiking in Yosemite and then coming back to sit by the fire at night, playing card game, and watching movies was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook a Thanksgiving meal. Everything was clean, comfortable beds, and a beautiful view from the front deck. This home could easily fit two families with all the kids on the upper level and adults downstairs.

Another amazing stay at the Hideaway and we will go back. Everything you need from appliances, to movies for your kids is available for use. I love running around the neighborhood and visiting local hiking spots. I would highly recommend this VRBO to family and friends.

Great place to relax between hikes and rest up. We appreciated the everyday items available like laundry soap and a kitchen well stocked with the basics, lots of spices and more. Beautiful front deck

House was clean and roomy. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with deer wandering through the yard. The front deck was so nice after a long day of hiking. You have to pay for a pass for your vehicle that covers the length of your stay in this gated community.

Perfect Getaway!

Nice, clean, comfortable place. We loved our stay. It had everything we needed. Perfect place to come back to after a long day in Yosemite. I loved having coffee and hanging out on the extra large balcony! My son loved having his own loft area upstairs. His own "little hideaway." Just a mile down to the beach. Fun watching the deer at night on the golf course! Quiet and beautiful location. Very peaceful.

Perfect stay

This is our second stay in Debi and Vineet's properties. And for the second time we are giving them A+. The property well maintained and equipped with everything you need. Check-in and check-out are straightforward. All instructions and driving directions were clear and provided in advance. The location is great: ~2 min. drive to the beach, ~5 min. drive to the local store, 30-35 min. to Yosemite National Park. The communication with hosts was easy and pleasant. We had really enjoyable 5-night stay. We will definitely rent from Debi and Vineet again and recommend this property to our friends.

Thanksgiving family vacation

My family has stayed at many properties and locations. This particular home was the best stocked in all of our experiences. The outdoor decks bring the inside out and easily doubles the useable living area. We had 5 children under the age of 6 including 2 infants. The deck provided a secure and open area for them to safely play outside. Through no fault of the owners the area does not provide for recycling. If you are concerned about recycling come prepared to separate and take you recyclables home with you. Wonderful wildlife and views. Thank you to our hosts.
