House Rules Dear Guests! We want our holiday rental to be a home away from home for you. We want you to feel comfortable and be able to relax. We’ve put a lot of effort into furnishing the apartment and hope you’ll find everything you need. By taking good care of the apartment, you’ll help us continue to offer you and other guests a pleasant place to stay. General If you find anything missing from the furnishings or if you need help, please feel free to contact us. Even though our housekeeper lives right next door, please respect her privacy and direct any questions exclusively to us. All items located in the holiday rental or on the balcony, or that belong to the property, may and should be used by guests. As a welcome gesture, you’ll find a few coffee capsules in the kitchen, for example; please provide for everything else yourself. Please treat all furnishings and equipment with care and take good care of the rental property. The renter is liable for any damage caused by their own fault—that is, through improper use, negligence, or wilful misconduct. Please ensure that your travelling companions also comply with the rental terms. Kitchen Please handle the kitchen furnishings and appliances with care. Since a dirty kitchen is unpleasant for everyone, please return dishes, pots, and cutlery to the cabinets only when they are clean and dry. Please do not place hot pots or other hot items on the tables or worktops without a trivet. Always use a cutting board as a surface when cutting. Please leave the interior of the oven and microwave clean. Damage: No one intentionally damages things, but accidents can happen to anyone. Please report any damage to us so that we don’t discover it during the final cleaning after your departure. Duty of Care To prevent mould growth, please ventilate the rooms adequately—at least once a day for 5–10 minutes, and especially after showering. The front door should always be kept closed and locked with a key when leaving the house. Likewise, all windows must be closed when leaving the apartment to prevent potential damage from severe weather or break-ins. Please use water and electricity sparingly. Waste Disposal: Dispose of any trash in the dustbin and the bathroom wastebasket, using only trash bags, and place them sealed in the general waste bin upon departure. Do not throw or pour any waste, food scraps, hazardous liquids, or similar items into the kitchen sink, toilets, sinks, or shower! Avoid anything that could cause clogs in the pipes (e.g., do not flush hygiene products down the toilet), as these must then be cleared at the guest’s expense. Quiet Hours In the spirit of good neighborliness, we ask that you observe public quiet hours, such as midday, nighttime, and Sunday quiet hours. Out of consideration for others, please also keep noise to a minimum in the holiday rental itself between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Smoking & Grilling Smoking is not permitted in the holiday rental. Barbecuing on the balcony is not permitted; the garden is not part of the holiday rental. Parking Public parking spaces are located in the immediate vicinity. Keys Please never let the keys out of your possession. The loss of keys must be reported immediately, and the guest is liable for the cost of replacement. Liability The landlord is not liable for the guest(s)’ valuables. Check-in and Check-out Check-in and check-out times are by arrangement. By booking the holiday rental, you agree to these house rules. We wish you a pleasant stay, lots of fun, relaxation, and rest! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. The three-room apartment "FeWo Chiemgau" is located in Gollenshausen on the beautiful Lake Chiemsee and is the perfect starting point for an unforgettable holiday. Lake Chiemsee and its lovely beach with a playground, kiosk, bathrooms, and changing rooms are just a 5-minute walk away. If you’re feeling hungry, the Seehäusl restaurant is a great place to eat. There’s also a small Edeka supermarket with a bakery in town. The nearest larger towns, Gstadt (3.5 km) and Seebruck (5 km), offer plenty of recreational activities and, of course, a ferry service to the famous Fraueninsel and Herrenchiemsee Castle. The mountains, where hikers and skiers can enjoy wonderful trails and slopes, are just a 20- to 30-minute drive away. Enchanting Salzburg is only about a 45-minute drive (approx. 65 km) away.
