The Hotel is very nice and staff are very friendly. The hotel is on a Main Street and a bit more lively with noise if your room is facing the road. If you want it more quiet, ask for the room on the back side of the building.

The property is clean and very convenient to Chapultepec which has lots of restaurants. Room smelled like cigarette upon arriving. Luckily, they were able to move us to another room. If you stay in the rooms facing the Main Street and you are a light sleeper, You might want to reconsider as you can hear very motor that passes by.

Excellent stay at Hotel Velvet Plaza. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was extremely courteous and professional, always willing to help with a smile. The location is convenient, and the amenities were well maintained.
