It was a beautiful place. I loved it! The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have a couple of chairs in the room to cozy up by the fireplace.

Nice but far from main attractions

The place is nice and well-kept in general. A pool would make it great, especially for longer stays. The hotel is a good 15-minute drive from downtown Guanajuato on a narrow, winding road - far from the noise but not so convenient.

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. When it was time to leave, the three guys building a new patio took a break and drove us to town.

INCREIBLE !!! El lugar es hermoso, relativamente nuevo. Las habitaciones comodas, baños amplios. Accesibles en el horario de llegada (llegamos antes de las 10 pm), nos recibieron con la chimenea puesta, un calenton prendido para aquello del frio. Pedimos copas y nos las prestaron. En el desayuno los mejores chilaquiles que he probado en mi vida !!! La atención calida y super lindos. Es un lugar super recomendado y romántico.

Beautiful, Peaceful, Great Staff away from City

Pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the architecture, the country atmosphere. Very secure, wonderful staff, 'couldn't be more peaceful. The pueblo of San Jose de Lima is a short walk, with an amazing Loncheria - best service, food and prices I could imagine! 10 minutes in the mountains outside of Guanajuato, fresh air, gorgeous views. A bed and breakfast, really. The staff responded quickly to every request. If you aren't driving, it's a 15 minute walk to a bus stop. Alternately, be sure you have a phone number for the cab service(s) in Guanajuato. I highly recommend Casas de Guanajuato, if you are leaning toward a combination of a country experience with the sites of Guanajuato close by.

es un lugar de ensueño, desde que entras te transportar a un lugar donde te desconectas del mundo, desde nuestra llegada las personas que están a cargo super amables, al entrar a nuestra casa ya tenían la leña prendida y calentones en cada habitación, te reciben con quesito, galletas y una botellita de tequila, frutita en almibar en el refri, las toallas son exquisitas, todo super limpio, definitivamente todo super bien para pasar un fin de semana o hasta mas tiempo! mil recomendado, seguro regresamos!

Excelente atención de los encargados

Srs dueños del hotel, tienen uds unas verdaderas joyas. Las personas que nos atendieron nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Las habitaciones son muy bellas y están muy bien cuidadas. Por supuesto planeamos regresar :)
