Great place to stay to experience Guangzhou. Very walkable to park area, museum, opera, mall of the world, and plenty of street level shopping & amazing restaurants. I could have stayed here for a week and had plenty to see and do. Staff was amazing and very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The staff hardly speak English. For Canton fair so many foreigners descend upon this hotel and what is the point if you don't have English speaking staff? The breakfast place is VERY vegetarian-unfriendly. The noodles, rice etc. is not vegetarian. The omelette is made using the same pan of those eating meat or pork. How can this be an international hotel when people don't speak English and basic vegetarian dietary is not met? How?

Nice location - room was not what we booked, issue with the breakfast which we booked with Expedia wasn't included when we got there - we have expected a King Room, but was given a apartment - no carpets only cold tile floor. Bed mattress was just solid - so uncomfortable - so for a 5 star hotel not good enough. We had to move rooms as we had a water leak at 5am in the morning - they compensated us with adding the free breakfast back onto our booking. Not many English speaking staff.

Rooms are big and clean. Hotel seems quite new. Very enjoyable stay. Convenient location. About 10-15 mins walk to metro station. Easy to call for transport too.

FABULOUS....AGAIN!
This hotel is absolutely brilliant. It is set in a fantastic location. The entrance lobby is absolutely opulent. Service is impeccable. Rooms are very nicely appointed. Breakfast is an absolute event - there is so much to choose from! The swimming pool is absolutely phenomenal. If you want to treat yourself, go ahead and book a stay - you won't be disappointed. And if it is not included, try the afternoon tea. WOW!

Convenient location, 12 minutes walk to subway station. The laundry machine which has the wash and dry function in the room was a nice surprise. There was problem with the shower head that I needed to call for service. But it was resolved quickly.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS - JUST DO IT!
I absolutely loved my stay at the Vaperse! It is in an excellent location. There is heaps of shopping and dining in the local area. It is situated close to everything in central Guangzhou. The views from my room overlooking the city and Canton Tower were amazing. The rooms were lovely - clean and comfortable. My room had an enormous bathroom complete with bathtub. The breakfast buffet each day was enormous with so much to choose from. Staff were friendly, attentive and obliging. It was so easy to get a taxi outside - the staff were happy to assist. The afternoon tea was absolutely astonishing. The swimming pool was breathtaking with phenomenal views of the city and there is always a lifeguard on duty. King (staff member) was an absolute delight and made so much effort to make me feel welcome. You can also use the sauna or get a massage at the property. It's a little pricey, but if you want to pamper yourself, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property and would not hesitate to recommend it to anybody.

The hotel staffs are super nice. The hotel has tasteful lobby decorations! There is a convenience store at the hotel with cheap prices! The hotel is a bit far from subway station line. I booked a 3 bedroom apartment and there is a washing machine but no laundry powder or detergent provided. The 3 bedroom apartment had only 1 toilet with bathtub and shower. The hot water is only enough for 2 adults to shower before other kids have to wait for 40 minutes for heater to prepare another round of hot water! The swimming pool closes at 9 and gym closes at 9:30pm. Don’t understand why the changing room with shower facility at gym and swimming pool level closes at 9 with pool facility ..... perhaps they don’t expect gym users to sweat and shower before they go back to their room. The hotel is strange to have a maternity clinic or Chinese medical clinic if some sort on 10/F.

We had an excellent experience. Luxury hotel. Service was almost amazing immediately solved issues and came through with our needs/requests. The only thing that we didn't expect was how firm the beds were. Even though that was the case we slept well. We just would have preferred softer beds.
