"We stayed at this resort by chance for one night due to starting our vacation early because of winter weather in the states. I prefer more authentic Costa Rican hotels/resorts vs a chain hotel close to the airport. While the taxi ride was more expensive, I felt it was worth it. It seemed secluded, was quiet, the rooms were extremely clean, there were thermal pools as well as a nice pool area and the included breakfast was definitely a plus! The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced! We had the pleasure of talking with Julian, who was a joy. I always love to learn about different cultures and people from other countries. Would highly recommend this place if you're considering this area. I would love to go back and spend a little more time in this area. My only suggestion is to add a golf cart or something to take people and their luggages to their room. We were at the very back of the resort and it was a bit of a walk with our luggage. All in all a great stay!"

We did the night walk and saw birds, snakes and red eyed frogs! The food was amazing for dinner at each restaurant, and the breakfast was incredible. "A very lovely place with beautiful landscaping, a large property for walking around and hiking and two restaurants. Be in good shape because there is a lot of walking thru the beautiful grounds. Lots of birds and very friendly staff."
