This is a very nice, clean, comfortable house with all the amenities needed. The owners have obviously thought carefully about making guests feel welcome. The service and communication from the local property manager however was abysmal. On arrival we had no internet or cable service. The property manager was unable to get anything working the first night. We understand that things happen. No problem.
The next morning at 8:45 she texted that she “would head over in a bit and not leave until this is fixed”. She never showed up, never texted or called. After several hours we inquired but she never answered any of our texts or calls. By the afternoon we called the main Vacasa line who contacted the property manager directly. We were told she had gotten busy and would be there at 4:45pm. She never showed up, called, texted or answered us.
Luckily there was a different property manager covering the next morning. He came over immediately, was extremely apologetic, and fixed the problem.
Having been a rental property owner myself, I would be appalled to know that my tenants could be treated so poorly. We certainly understand that things happen but communication is paramount. Just keeping us in the loop would have made all the difference. Instead a significant part of our first day and a half was wasted. I empathize with the owners and hope that they are able to address this problem.
