This house is such a great retreat for our friends every year. Plenty of space, and an ideal place to relax by the pool and BBQ on a warm weekend in Russian River.
We really enjoyed our stay in this little town with lots of character. The house was very lovely to stay in, plenty of space, decently comfortable beds, GREAT pool, easy communication with the landlord. Would definitely stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home accommodated our group of 13 adults comfortably, including space for all in the large dining room, kitchen, dishes/flatware, glasses, etc., outdoor seating, and bathroom/bedrooms. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The location is quiet and tranquil as well as conveniently located to the ocean and the redwoods. We heartily recommend it.
This place was perfect to have a group of friends for a weekend. House was clean, welcoming, and well-stocked, and the host was easy to reach and helpful. Highly recommend!
Everything was good. Everything worked and was easy to use as far as the heating of the house, the hot tub and kitchen, utensils, lots and pans, etc..For a large group, this place worked out incredibly well for us.
My extended family had a great time staying at this place. It has everything that you needed to have a very pleasant stay. There are a couple of things that might need to be updated soon, but nothing that would prevent us from staying there again. The house had toys and games for all ages, along with floaties be for the pool.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our stay here at the Highland Manor! The place was comfortable and nicely furnished. The pool was fine, although shallow. A beautiful setting with many places to lounge and relax, plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped.
Definitely recommend it and we hope to stay here again! Thank you Caner and family!
We loved being together in such a clean great house! Such easy check in and check out too!
There was an awesome kids room with two bunk beds, sofa, games and a cool arcade game! There’s a pool table too! The kitchen was well stocked and all bedrooms comfortable and 5 bathrooms! The hot tub was so nice. We liked having the pool safety cover and the yard was fun and property so well kept. It was really a perfect place for us! The house has great character! It was so close to the redwoods, the beach, Santa Rosa and the new Russian River Brewery and several wineries! Thanks to our hosts for a lovely family time!!

Fun house up winding road
We had a great stay in a house that has plenty of space. More run down than the photos show and the location is up a winding narrow road above town. We had ants in the kitchen that may have had to do with the summer heat but the email contact never replied. We put out traps and lived with the annoyance. Pool is a great bit of fun and makes for a nice outdoor experience. Deck and pool are in really good shape.
This house was so fun, and in a beautiful location. We had a great time and the house had everything we needed for entertaining and relaxing. The only issue was the power went out on the last night. The power being off was not the issue, it was that there were no candles or flashlights and the property manager didn’t get back to me when I asked about it. The power came on a few hours later, but the lack of response was not ideal.
A home with lots of charm and good energy perfect to spend a weekend with family and friends, all together with plenty of personal space. We loved our time at the house and would book again ;)
