"I was surprised I did not hear the airplanes from the airport behind the property except when I was at the pool. The rooms were fine, clean. No comfortable place to sit other than the bed and no drawers to hide my clothing. The buffet breakfast was very good and the coffee was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"The Island Resort was okay. When there was enough staff to help, they were typically crabby or rude. Maybe they thought we we're spring breakers? It made the whole trip less enjoyable. The rooms were livable (cleanliness wise), but don't expect a sterilized environment. Before you book, call to make sure the Grotto Pool is open. It was drained for repairs upon our arrival and got shut down when asked about it. "
