Welcome to the 18th Floor of the Lagoon Tower. Imagine having the entire floor to yourself. The elevator opens to your personal penthouse. The view is unbelievable! 360 degree view of the water!

You'll find four beautifully decorated bedrooms. The large living area is open to a granite and stainless kitchen complete with island seating and a serving bar with an under counter icemaker. This area opens to an amazing large terrace, with a beautiful view of the Gulf.

The master features views of the Lagoon, a private entrance to the terrace and a large luxurious bath with double vanities, a separate shower and a a large whirlpool tub. The second bedroom features a queen bed and private bath.

The third bedroom also features a queen bed and private bath. The fourth bedroom has a twin with a pull-out trundle underneath. All four bedrooms have televisions and floor to ceiling windows with outstanding views of the Gulf of Mexico and Little Lagoon.

You'll enjoy deeded beach access to a quiet area of residential West Beach. No crowds here! Indoor and outdoor pools plus an indoor hot tub surrounded by floor to ceiling windows overlooking Little Lagoon provide refreshing relaxation no matter what time of year you visit.

You'll also find a waterfront fitness center and we have a private pier complete with boat slips for your use.

Lagoon Tower is about 3.5 miles west of where Hwy 59 intersects with Beach Boulevard so you are away from the area of condo after condo, but still just a few minutes from an array of restaurants, shops and attractions.

Best views! Easy beach access! Luxurious stay!

All of our jaws dropped when we walked into the penthouse for the first time. It is so beautiful even without the phenomenal views. It’s the perfect location because you are 5 minutes from the “town” but have the private beach feel and access. We’ve stayed a lot of places and there is usually one or two things we would have changed but this place was perfect.

Great Vacation!

This condo was fabulous for our 7 day stay in Gulf Shores! Plenty of space for six of us with room to spare, the open concept living, dining and kitchen was great for family gathering, and the balcony’s on the front and back were very relaxing with great views! The beach was very close and not crowded, and was close to restaurants and things to do, but far enough away to not experience traffic.

What an absolutely beautiful place!!! The pictures dont do it justice. Its bigger than it looks. Comfy beds. The view of sunrises and sunsets were amazing. One of the best stocked kitchens in any place ive rented. Thanks for a great time…Ernie the doorman was awesome as well!

Absolutely Stunning

All the reviews that say the pictures don’t capture the true beauty of this condo are absolutely 100% correct. This place is amazing. My wife also kept saying it was the best stocked VRBO we’ve ever had. Thank you to the owners! The ability to see the ocean and the lagoon at the same time is something I will never forget. Loved how easy the beach access is! Our kids were asking if we could come back to this condo as we pulled out of the parking lot to come home.

This place is amazing! The views are unbelievable! The pics on VRBO need to be updated. It looks nothing like that. There was only one skillet and no light above the stove. Other than that, this place is perfect. I would highly recommend! 😊

Perfection!

We loved everything about this condo! The views for sunrise and sunset are phenomenal. The beach is very convenient! There are many chairs, towels and beach toys left by others for guests to use. The kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen of any we have ever rented! The master suite was lovely and quite comfortable. Family reported others beds were comfortable. The location was close enough to be a quick drive to the sites, but was removed from the chaos. Truly we had the perfect Fall Break here. So much so, we are coming back to this building for Soring Break. 😃

2nd Visit

Love this amazing place! Almost gave less stars on accuracy of listing because the place is so much nicer than the listing. We stayed here last year as well for our family vacation. Kitchen is over the top stocked. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed. The weather wasn't the best so having a huge living area were we could spread out was really nice. Also, having an indoor pool was great for my grandbaby. We did have to use the bunkroom this time and it really isn't comfortable for an adult. It is more for kids...so if you need more than 3 beds for adults this might not work.

Fall beach trip 2024

Excellent views, but not directly on the gulf. Plenty of room for our group, kitchen was well stocked. Beds and linens were fine, furniture was dated but ok. Long walk across the street to beach but there was a wagon to carry chairs, coolers, etc. we did have a problem when we got to the Lagoon Tower access gate. It was locked and we did not have the code. Tried to contact the host but she never responded. Would definitely rent again but if your over 70 like us, some with walking issues, you might want to find a condo directly on the beach.

Beautiful Property

Wow is the only way to describe this penthouse. From the moment the elevators open into the property, you are taken aback. Turn left and you see the Gulf of Mexico, turn right and the you see the vast hallway leading to the enormous master bedroom overlooking the lagoon. The three other bedrooms are spacious and met our group's needs. The property comes with all the essentials needed for a great stay. From a separate ice machine to puzzles, games, and beach items, this has it all. The kitchen has all the pots and pans needed to make a delicious meal. The master closet is spacious along with the master bath. Certainly worth the money spent on this beauty. Highly recommend

Great place but a few opportunities

First of all, the place was beautiful and great location! It was for most part clean and was ready when we got there! The entire place was well secured. My only complaint was how unresponsive the property manager was. You need a code to get to the pool room and the access to the beach, so be sure you ask for that when you reserve. The security guard there in the evening had to tell us about it even though they aren’t supposed to. We never did hear back from property manager, even though I followed up a couple times. We also inquired about the TV as we couldn’t even log in to use it - even to use our own subscriptions, as we had some rainy days. We did end up leaving the night before due to a little visitor somehow getting to the 18th floor. My daughter was freaked out and while we know cockroaches are a thing in the south, coming from Michigan, we don’t have those. If the property manager would have been responsive, I would have said it was a perfect place.

Better than can imagine

This property is so mich more beautiful and spacious than the pictures and details given. It is very clean and luxurious. The views are spectacular throughout the entire condo, with floor to ceiling windows. Plenty of closet space, equipped with so many kitchen utensils, pots, pans, casserole dishes, cups, etc. Whatever you may need is in the unit. The garbage shoot is conveniently located within the unit, so no carrying the trash down the hall. There is also a very nice ice maker not counting the one within the freezer. The master is huge eith its own mini fridge and bar sink. Just too mich too talk about!! I will book again for sure!! The host was very nice and helpful and the security guard downstairs was such a hoot, very friendly and eager to help! Theres also a pier to the lagoon that can be walked oit on and fished from, with its own fish cleaning station. Very nive!

Great Property!

Our group of 6 adults has stayed at Lagoon Towers for 11 years straight with the last 4 years in the 18th floor penthouse unit. Lagoon Tower is a very well kept, quiet and convenient location. The 18th floor penthouse unit is very spacious offering spectacular views of the beach and Lagoon. It is very well appointed and clean. We’ve always enjoyed our stay and this year was no exception. However, this year we noticed the unit is in need of a few maintenance issues in that one of the 4 toilets ran constantly, the same bathroom vanity sink faucet ran a small steady stream of water that the faucet wouldn’t shut off. The master bath garden tub faucet ran a small stream of water that the faucet wouldn’t shut off as well. The light in the kitchen range exhaust hood was not functional this year and the refrigerator side of the side by side refrigerator was not keeping food as cold as in years past even though the temp setting was turned up to its max cool setting. The freezer side was working as it should. The gathering table on the front beachside balcony was missing this year but we solved that issue by picking up a 6’ folding table at Walmart. I contacted the unit maintenance company to advise of these maintenance issues as I didn’t want our group to be blamed for these minor issues. Based on previous experience with this unit and host, I’m confident the issues will be addressed quickly. It’s an amazing property and I’m certain you won’t be disappointed.

Family vacation

Very nice accommodations with plenty of room for us. Quiet setting with fishing opportunities for the guys and beach relaxation for the girls. Security guards on property in the evening were very helpful and friendly.

Check-in was a little hectic being that there are hundreds of key boxes to go through.id rather do that then have to go to an office and then back to the condo. The kitchen was fully stocked and beautiful. As for as the views, they were breathtaking and could be seen from all angles of the room.

This was our 11th year staying at Lagoon Tower and our 5th year staying on the 18th floor penthouse condo. Our host, Melissa is always helpful and responsive to any of our questions or concerns. The Lagoon Tower property is well maintained. The 18th floor unit is tastefully decorated, very clean and has a kitchen that is as well equipped as any you could find. With this condo being the entire 18th floor, there are 2 large balconies. The front balcony offers fantastic views of the ocean and beach. The rear balcony offers a great view of the entire lagoon. We have found this property and condo to be the best value for the money in Gulf Shores. We’ve already booked our next stay in this condo for 2026.
