Luna-Sea is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath Gulf Front home located DIRECTLY on the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Why settle for a crowded beachfront with condo-mates when you can have your very own stretch of white sand? Say goodbye to sharing your relaxation with 1,000 other vacationers and say hello to your own little slice of relaxation with Luna-Sea.

Great location right on the beach. Everything worked like it should. No hassle with check in/out. Host responded quickly when i reached out. Only downside was the beds are very hard. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again.

Family trip

Great spot for our extended family. Location and spot in the beach was great. Kitchen and bedrooms had everything we needed and we even grilled out with the charcoal grill!

The home was clean and as described. Great location right on the beach. My only complaint is the amount of “starter supplies” in the unit. A home that says it can sleep 12 people should have more than a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and more than a single garbage bag in the kitchen. There was also only a single dishwasher pod and no sponge to hand wash dishes. Only being there for 3 nights and with 6 people (1/2 the number this unit holds) shouldn’t require a trip to the store for basic necessities.

Basic - But Beachy!

We took a last minute trip with some of our kids and it was great to have the beach literally steps away. It could use some updates to the mattresses but there was more than enough room for us and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location.

Great location right on the beach not right in the middle of everything but close enough to all attractions. Just as described house is stocked with 'starter' basic supplies. Bring your paper towels, TP, and dish soap. Not complaining just explaining. Beds are comfy. View from inside and outside house is phenomenal!

Fantastic location - plenty of room - good kitchen facilities -good supply of beach equipment - great view - great area of sand in backyard for kids play area - easy access over small dune to a wide beautiful beach - view of sunrise and sunset - nice size front room - nice back porch overlooking beach

We had a wonderful stay! It was perfect for us and our young adult children. Fully furnished house that matched the description and had everything we needed. It was far enough away from high-rise buildings to provide a quiet area on the beach, as well. Loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat!

The house worked perfectly for our family of 9 (5 adults/4 children). The location was great. Not in the middle of masses of people but close enough to the places we wanted to go. Beach was quiet. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing house- best on the beach!

Luna Sea was perfect- there was a little sand area right off the back staircase for the kids to play. There were a lot of leftover beach toys, including a small kiddie pool, an umbrella and a few beach chairs (we did not use them- not sure the condition). We used the grill a few nights and sat on the back porch every morning and evening (plenty of seating). There was a Keurig and regular coffee pot, plenty of pots and 2 sheet pans and all of the regular dishes you would need. The house was very accommodating and comfortable for the 11 of us (6 adults, 5 kids). The AC worked GREAT, and the hot water and water pressure did not disappoint. We were 1/2 mile from a little grocery, ice cream shop and seafood restaurant (as well as a fresh Seafood order-to-go place *S&S Seafood*). We could not have chosen a better beach house to stay in for the week. We will check for availability at this house when we visit again!

Great beach house

I came to town for a conference and ended up extending my stay into a vacation. This beach house was perfect. It had basically everything we needed and fit my large family everyone nicely. The private beach access was very nice, but I even spent a lot of time just behind the house in the sand or underneath with my 1 year old. Definitely recommend.

It was a wonderful house, with a great beach area. Our only problem was when we would turn the tv on at night before bed, we couldn’t sign into anything. We could only watch one channel.

Great Beach getaway

This is a great location right on the beach with great bedroom set up. The house is set up well for non-consumables but a little sparse on consumables. Only 1 roll of tp per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towel, 1 bar of soap, no shampoo, no cleaning spray, no backup rolls, etc. We purchased this stuff and overall great house.

Wonderful retreat!

We stayed at this house most of January to get out of the Chicago winter and this was just what we needed. Quiet location, but not far from everything Gulf Shores offers. Really nice stretch of beach. Very clean and laid out well. Two thoughts to share: 1) Bring your own hangers, 2) To open the doors from the deck, whether inside or outside, you need to pull the handle all the way UP

Fantastic house and great location

Overall we were extremely pleased with the house. Beach access and views were incredible. We were still close enough to town but weren’t crowded by too many people on the beach. The only negatives were that the owner never responded to an inquiry about trash. Compared with other VRBO’s where we have stayed, I felt that the extras were a little lacking. Only left two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. There were no cleaning supplies at all.

Fall Beach Stay

Fantastic location with beautiful views and direct access to the beach right from the deck. Quite location which we completely enjoyed. We had four adults and the house was perfect for our group. Overall this is a great property but it still needs some serious attention to detail which is what drove my review down. The door locks on this house are frustrating. More information on how to use them would be helpful. My son and I spent 20 mins trying to figure out how to lock the front door which is defective and has to be manipulated to get it to lock. Once we locked it, we avoided it and only used the deck door. The was frustrating. The key instructions were confusing as there were no additional keys in the kitchen drawers. Some of the outdoor motion sensor lighting was not working which would have been helpful at night. There is mold in the bathrooms on the ceiling that needs to be cleaned up. That was a big turn off. The other thing, was that some standard convivence things were lacking, such as only two trash bags for the kitchen, One roll of paper towels and no backup toilet paper. For a 5 night say at this cost we should not have had to go purchase additional toilet paper and deal with trash bags. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The deck had great seating and there are some beach items under the deck such as beach umbrellas. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Luna Sea but there are some things that need attention at this level.

Overall, we loved our stay! Location was perfect! Our only comment would be that some of the mattresses seemed like they needed to be replaced. Other than that, we enjoyed the house and would definitely stay again.
