Location, Beach and Peace

Great view but house is way outdated

Started with having the wrong code to enter the house. House is very outdated. Upstairs shower didn't work correctly had water coming from faucet and shower head. Washer would not drain and spin correctly so it would take a full day just to dry a small load of clothes. The view and beach access were good but house definitely needs work . Also on balcony their were loose boards. Very unsafe with children.

Absolutely great location! The neighborhood was nice, was in close proximity to a few restaurants, easy access to the beach, spectacular views. This is the perfect house for people with mobility issues. The ground level entrance made unoading and loading luggage a breeze. Plenty of space in the living/dining room, and all the bedrooms were spacious. Great place for a quiet, relaxing getaway!There was an issue with the wifi upon arrival, but it was addressed immediately and fixed in a timely manner. I would definitely consider visiting again!

Great location but that’s about it.

Ot was nice having a short walk to the beach, but it felt like the owners were as cheap as possible with everything in the home. Mattresses, electrical sockets, shower heads, stove, lamps, pots and pans, etc. were all poor quality and semi-functional.

The upstairs shower was broke and did not drain very well, 2/4 of the stove burners were broke and could not be fixed during our stay, the bathroom on the main floor was leaking, the pull out couch was broke, the shower and floors were dirty, dishes were dirty, we weren’t able to get WiFi till our third day there.

Needs a lot of work

The house was a quick walk to the beach, however very ran down and unclean. Mold was a major issue along with dirty air vents. I was informed the owners had upcoming work scheduled. We checked out early do to the unhealthy air system - vents disgusting covered in dust air ducts had mold. Pictures were sent in to the staff its taking days to get a response. I am still waiting for a refund because the house was unsanitary, unclean, and broken down.

It was very peaceful, loved the views but the house did have some issues. The air in the downstairs didnt work , the bathroom in there the shower didnt work good , you got super hot or super cold stream. There was a few more issues but overall it was peaceful and we enjoyed it

Honesty…

This house is set in a beautiful space and very convenient to the beach access. Although a very cute & quaint house it is very very neglected. The cleaning was non existent when we arrived there was still garbage in the bedrooms in bags and leftover razors and used soaps in the upstairs bathroom and duct tape around a lightbulb in the ceiling to turn on & off the only source of light as well as broken blinds you couldn’t even lower in the living room among other things. I truly believe there is tons of potential here and definitely needs to be maintained and cleaned better.

CAMPBELLOT REVIEW

THE LOCATION OF THE CAMPBELLOT HOME IS EXCELLENT. YOU ARE A SHORT WALK FROM THE BEACH AND CAN SEE THE OCEAN FROM THE HOME. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THE HOME IS NOT WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND NEEDS LOTS OF TLC. IT DID HAVE NEW AND CLEAN KITCHEN ITEMS, BUT THE CABINETS AND BLINDS, VALANCES WERE VERY OLD AND NOT IN THE BEST SHAPE. THE BEDS, PILLOWS AND TOWELS WERE ALL VERY CLEAN. THE MASTERBED NEEDS UPDATED AND WAS NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL. COBWEBS ON THE CEILINGS IN PLACES. WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID, WE WOULD STAY AGAIN, BUT WOULD NEED THE PRICE REDUCED ON THIS VACAY HOME.

Misleading listing

The furnished deck consisted of a broken chair and a broken coffee table covered in mold. I sent a message to Vacasa about it and never got a response. There is no shared pool, or at least no information on how to get to it. Staircase to the second floor is very steep and narrow, beware if you travel with kids or someone with mobility issues. The house is pretty dated but it was very clean.

The access to front door was a process! The laundry room is outside and can’t do laundry at night due to no light. Outside shower is not accessible on the far end of property. Overall the place is outdated. Kitchen cabinets don’t close well. Folded out bed broken. Send floor stairs is not safe for children. Upstairs bedroom door outside doesn’t have curtains or shades. Master bedroom bed is uncomfortable. Master bathroom shower head doesn’t work well and shower door is broken. The place needs updated or rebuilt!! Would not stay again or suggest anyone else to stay.

Great Location- Old School Cottage

This rental is very dated. Think early 90’s. With the “old school charm” comes some mildew and cobwebs. On a positive note, the location is great and there are some good views of the Gulf. Everything in the home worked, but it is long overdue for a deep cleaning and a slight refresh. The bottom line, I would stay there again!
