Designed for comfort and fun, Calvert Castle offers privacy and space that is hard to find. The home is very large and spacious, sleeping up to 20 guests across 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. An elevator provides easy access to all floors, and smart TVs are available for your entertainment.

The heart of the home is the large entertainment area and a fully loaded game room, ensuring endless fun for all ages.

A Note on Nature: This home is wonderfully immersed in a natural coastal environment. You are surrounded by the beach, the bay, and lush greenery. This means you may encounter local wildlife, including squirrels, deer, raccoons, and various insects. We have a professional pest control service that treats the property monthly, but we cannot offer refunds for encounters with Mother Nature. We recommend bringing insect repellent to ensure your comfort.

Absolutely beautiful place and plenty of room for our family of 14! We loved having the golf cart, beach wagon and all the beach chairs/toys. Fun times playing pool and other games at night! Definitely will go in the books as one of our best vacations!

Perfect Location

The house was nicely maintained. The house was very comfortable , as were all the beds. I really liked the location. It was a pretty little comunity, close enough ro all the Gulf Shores shops, but still felt very private and friendly. The beach was really close - safe and easy for the kids to get to.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at Calvert Castle with our family of 18 people. Although we didn’t get to use all the amenities in the neighborhood due to the weather, the home had ample to do to keep our 10 grandchildren (ages 1-14) busy. The home was spacious and clean with everything we needed. Rocky was very kind and checked in on us. We would stay there again!

Family Christmas Getaway

We had a group of 12 adults so the 6 bedrooms were perfect. The living room was spacious enough to seat all 12 of us to enjoy watching football games or just enjoying the gas fire place while catching up . The kitchen was plenty stocked for our daily family breakfasts as well as baking Christmas cookies for all to enjoy. We had fun playing pool and ping pong in the game room. The beautiful Christmas tree and decorations throughout the house were a lovely touch and made a pretty backdrop for family photos. We had a great time and would love to stay when the weather is warmer as the location is great for going to the beach or pool.

Fantastic vacation home

Home is so beautiful. We had plenty of room for 7 adults and a toddler. Kitchen was completely stocked, even a slow cooker was available. Many beach toys, rafts and coolers. This home had it all. We thoroughly enjoyed. Used the golf cart to take everything to the beach. The beach walk could use another step or two since it drops at the end but we had a fabulous vacation. Extended Family Vacation

Wonderful stay! We were age 2 to 76. Enjoyed all the amenities - pool, ping pong, gaming table, golf cart, beach toys, tennis, pickle ball, pool (best for younger kids, shallow), beach, etc. Beautiful view of lagoon. Large, comfortable gathering space on main floor. 3 beautiful large rooms/suites. 3 adequate bedrooms. Plenty of kitchen counter space. Glad to have second frig in laundry room. Would not bring kayaks again. A little shallow in lagoon but there are other places we enjoyed kayaking. Had a good 1/2 day fishing charter and yummy fish fish one night for dinner.

Calvert Castle

This property was very nice. There were no surprises. We were very happy that there were ample pots and pans, dishes, and tableware. The community pool was very nice as was the beach. Sorry to say that Tropical Storm Alberto kept up out of the surf as 2X red flags flew every day except when one red flag was hoisted above a purple flag due to a high concentration of jellyfish in the water. Rocky, the owner, was in communication with me almost every day, and immediately attended to the only concern I told him about. All in all, this was a very fine property.

Amazing House for our Large Group

This was an amazing property with plenty of room for our group of 17 ladies. There was plenty of room to spread out and the amenities were unlike any other property we have stayed at. The owners have truly thought of everything you could need. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for multiple meals. There were lots of extra beach chairs and towels in the garage to use. The golf cart was an added bonus and made getting to the beach a breeze. Rocky checked in on us the day after we checked in to make sure we were settled in ok and he was fast to respond when we had an issue with the main fridge the day before check out. The location is great and the views cannot be beat. We can not wait to stay at this property again next fall!

Calvert Castle

My family and I had an amazing stay at Calvert Castle. It was gorgeous, clean, extremely well stocked, plenty of space. So close to the beach-2minute walk. The elevator was a must for my disabled father. He was able to go to all the floors with ease, to join us. There were 16 of us and we had plenty of room! Lots of privacy. The balconies were a bonus when it came to watch the stunning sunset! The lake is directly behind the driveway. Perfect for fishing! The location of the property is amazing. It’s in between Ft Morgan, and Orange beach. 10-20 minute drive to stores and restaurants. The game room, canoes, bikes, and golf cart were such a treat to have! Rocky was an amazing and friendly host and was there for us when we had any questions, and he Che led on us to see if everything was to our liking. We’ve stayed at many of the other properties in Gulf Shores, but this was at the top of our list. It’s a Top Notch property!! We would definitely book again!! Thank you Rocky!!

Most properties on rental sites are over sold. Calvert Castle is better than advertised. Perfect location and accommodations. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We found pleasant surprises at every turn from toys to games to utensils in the kitchen. You will not be disappointed if you rent this. The beach is pristine and quiet, and fishing is on the community dock right at your door. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Wonderful vacation at Calvert’s Castle!

Our family had a great time at Calvert’s Castle! The house was spacious and had the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beach supplies, golf cart and kayaks were nice to have. The location was convenient to the lagoon for fishing as well as a close walk to the pool and beach. The house was clean and we appreciated the fact that there was a gentleman that double-checked the house and answered any questions as we checked in. Communication was great with Rocky. We would definitely stay here again!
