  • Two bed/two bath unit in a low density complex. Master bedroom opens to patio balcony with direct views of the Gulf of Mexico.
    Your entire family can get away here and there is room for everyone. This unit sleeps 8! Located in close proximity to all of the best Gulf Shores attractions, you won't miss anything on your beach getaway! Just steps away from the famous Pink Pony Pub, The Hangout, shopping and more. The building is directly on the beach & includes a gorgeous Gulf-front swimming . Your total price includes 2 parking passes., that will be waiting for you in the condo on the counter. We also have a new elevator 🌴

    What we leave: 1 roll of tp per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, garbage bags and dish detergent for each day of your stay, a few laundry detergent drop ins, a sponge, and little liquid dish soap.

    ***Attention our cleaners leave bath towels, wash rags, and hand towels according to the amount of guests listed in your reservation.

We stayed for a week and had an amazing experience. The room was spotless and felt welcoming from the moment we walked in. There were even little frogs we found around the place! We loved everything about our stay. Loved the location, close to everything you may need, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc..Beautiful view of the beach and ocean from the balcony. Very clean and had everything we needed inlcuding chairs and an umbrella for the beach which was very nice. Definetely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Good clean property. Excellent location close to everything. Short walk to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay. Parking lot is kind of tight and the elevator is unpredictable but all in all we would definitely do it again.

Fall break trip

We brought our teenage grandson and his friend for Fall break. The condo is perfect for kids and families, great beachfront property and a nice pool! We were within walking distance to The Hangout and several restaurants and shops. We all had a great time, Gulf State park is so close and so much to do there, too!

We were happy with the condo and especially happy with its location to the beach and the restaurants. Everything was as shown on the website. Patio chairs needed to be replaced as well as the pillows. Other than that we would stay there again.

The condo itself was amazing; exactly as described. So much within walking distance. A huge selection of “take a toy leave a toy” for at the beach. Only issue, which was not with the condo, was the elevator which would get stuck. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo was just as described, we had a wonderful time. The beach and pool were just steps away. Condo was clean, mattresses were a little rough but we all survived. Owners were very accomadating and got us in earlier than expected. Elevator was broken upon arrival but they got it back going quickly. Parking is very tight.

Location is perfect!

Family spring break with college freshman twins & their friends. Perfect location for the young adults to go the the Hangout, perfect walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc.. The condo is very nice and IMO nicer than the pictures show. It's updated and has a great flow. We didn't feel crowded at all and we had 7 people and could have had another with no problem. Bathrooms are large. Brand new elevator and never had a wait, even during spring break. We will book here again!

Family Vacation

The condo was excellent! It fit every checkbox we had. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities we needed. The owners of this condo where very kind and quick to responded to messages. They seem to care about their guest and really want people to enjoy themselves. Only negative issue we had was the elevator. My 83 years old dad went was with us and the elevator was a hit or miss on working. He had to walk up 8 flights of stairs 4 times. Dad says this was keeping him young however, he didn't want to leave the room much because of this.

Excellent Location, Affordable Rate, Comfortable Condo

We stayed in Castaways 8B from 09.11.2024 through 09.16.2024. Things of note: the coffee maker is a drip coffee maker, there is a great blow dryer in the master bathroom, the water pressure was excellent, internet worked fine. The appliances and ice maker worked great. 8B was clean and quiet with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and clean kitchen and bathroom linens. There were menus and money saving coupons in the kitchen—we saved money at restaurants and attractions. Castaways was clean and safe and the property was well-maintained. The beach was clean and the water was clear. There is a toy box on the property near the pool for toys—take one/leave one. I prefer the smaller, boutique feel of Castaways vs the mega condominium complexes. I would definitely recommend Castaways 8B and our host Ty responded quickly to my questions. It was 10/10 vacation, only steps to the beach and nearby to so much fun, food, and shopping.
