The cooks in the group will love the granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. An open floor plan means everyone can join in the fun. The dining table is strategically placed by the windows, so you'll enjoy the scenery, even at mealtimes. There is a beautiful living area with gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico. The living room opens onto a Gulf front covered patio. This home sleeps 16. There are 5 bedrooms, and an upstairs loft area that contains a sleep sofa.

Easy beach access

Great location and easy beach access. Size of house was good for our family, but online pictures were nicer than actual house. There were ac limitations and noisy windows and doors due to seal issues. House was clean and kitchen was nice.

Very relaxing

Being able to walk to the beach in just a few steps was awesome. No lines waiting for an elevator like you do at a condo. Rooms were bright and airy. Common area was large enough for our group. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect spot to relax with friends!

The Sunflower was the ideal spot for our group of friends to vacation. We were amazed by the beautiful view and the location on the beach. The decks with comfortable rocking chairs were used daily as we watched the day start or end. The kitchen was well designed and equipped for a large group. We especially appreciated having a bathroom for each bedroom. Hope to visit again!

Family Vacation

My wife and have three adult sons who all have families of their own and they live some distance from us now. So, we don’t get to spend as much time together as we would like. On those rare occasions when we can get everyone together we want it to be in a special and memorable place that we can all enjoy. The Sunflower provided the perfect atmosphere to make those memories. It was in the perfect location and gave us everything we needed to make the most of our precious time. Thank you! Amazing Location; Property Shows Its Age

The location of this house cannot be beaten. For the price, it's an excellent value. With that said, the property is most definitely showing its age. The floors on the main level are quite uneven, with noticeable sagging in the floor as you move away from the support poles below. The property was clean-ish, but we did have to wash the sheets on several of the beds the first day due to sand/hair upon arrival. There was also some concerning staining on one of the comforters. The property manager was extremely responsive, though, and sent a cleaning crew to address our concerns on the second day of our stay. The kitchen is well-stocked with small appliances (I think we counted 3 coffee makers), cookware, and drinkware. There were multiple stock pots available, containers for leftovers, and all manner of small kitchen gadgets (pizza cutter, potato peeler, etc.). The beds were comfortable enough, and we did appreciate that it was a pet-friendly property. Overall, I would recommend the property based on its location and price. If you desire 5-star accommodations, this is not the place for you. If you want an affordable vacation with easy access to the beach and attractions, this is a great option.

Sunflower in Gulf Shores

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were most disappointed in our stay at Sunflower. The rental price is very overpriced for this property. We have rented dozens of homes that were larger and more luxurious than this one. Some of the bedroom furniture was beaten up and the mattress in one bedroom squeaked so bad that you could hardly get any sleep. Parts of the house hadn’t been cleaned in quite awhile and there was a stoped up drain in a bathroom as well as a loose bunk bed. We waited till MONDAY to report anything because it was a holiday weekend. When we reported problems on Monday morning we had to text back on Tuesday night because we hadn’t heard from anyone. Nothing was ever done. Not the fault of the rental agency but the location of the house was right by a public beach access and before you could think about going to the beach there was several tents and guests from the large rental units across the street. I have never given a bad review before but I would not recommend this property.

Family came from Texas and Kentucky to spend a week at Sunflower. The home was just as described. We have stayed in lots of homes and this kitchen was stocked better than any other! We loved the spacious bedrooms and the view was spectacular! Highly recommend this house!
