We stayed 3 out of 4 nights with no AC. I understand that sometimes things break, and that just happens, but it was handled horribly! We arrived late on a Tuesday and alerted Vacasa immediately that the AC was not working. We were told they would have someone out the next day. No one ever came or updated us. Wednesday afternoon I contacted them again and they acted like it was my fault because I notified them outside of their 9-5 business range, even though it is clearly says there is 24/7 support and I was already told that the local property manager was alerted and would be coming. Then the story changed, saying that the local property manager was not responding to them, and then the story changed again and the local property manager was supposed to be out there first thing Thursday morning, he did not come until mid afternoon on Thursday just to tell us that he could not get the part that was needed until Friday, but he would be there first thing in the morning between 8 and 8:30. When we questioned him on why it took him so long to get there in the first place, he blamed it on Vacasa and said he was just now alerted that we had a problem. So on day FOUR of our trip, did he show up early AM like we were told? No. Called Vacasa, they blamed it on him again. We stayed away from the room as much as possible because it was miserable and hot. Finally got AC Friday afternoon, only to leave the following morning. The SMALL refund given to us because of this was a joke.
