    This charming three-story, four bedroom, three-full-bath beach house offers over 2,500 square feet of living space, two porches, a crow's nest, and a convenient one-car garage.

    Sea Salts main level offers a spacious living room, dining room and fully appointed kitchen with breakfast counter, refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, dishwasher and laundry area with full-size washer and dryer. Just off the living and dining room is a large screened back porch with plenty of outdoor seating.

    The master suite with comfortable seating area and a generous master bath with a large garden tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, double vanity and separate commode room.
    The comfortable guest bedroom is just off the foyer and adjacent to a separate full bathroom.

    On the second level you’ll discover two guest bedrooms, a full bath and a quaint living area.
    A few more steps lead to the furnished crow's nest with panoramic views of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

    Other features include 24-foot ceilings in the living and dining rooms, 10-foot ceilings in all other downstairs living areas, ceiling fans, central heating and air conditioning, and lots of storage areas.

Note that the living room area is small, but the porch gave us the extra space we needed so that we weren’t all sitting on top of one-another. Our teen enjoyed the small room on the top floor for her hide-away.Office staff was not on their game. Grill did not work, and it took 24 hours for them to return my call. We were later told that someone had come by to fix it but could not do the work since we were not home. That’s puzzling, since the grill is outside. We were then told to go to the Dollar Store to purchase a lighter — isn’t that the mgt company’s responsibility? Someone needed to try a little harder.

We enjoyed walking the grounds, swimming at the pools, and enjoyed the hot tubs. We loved the golf cart, bikes, and beach toys at our rental house. Martinique is so well maintained and clean. The beach was clean and uncrowded.

The house was spacious and what we needed. Although the back porch needs a lot of attention from floor to ceiling. Power washing, at the least, would have been helpful. Porch concrete floor has grease and mildew spots everywhere. The porch walls need cleaning and painting. The house was basically clean and linens and towels were adequate. We enjoyed the golf cart and there were tons of toys for the children as well as bikes.kitchen had everything that we needed. If owner would take care of back porch we would rent again! Front porch needs power washing as well.

Awesome Vacation Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family had a great vacation in "Teaux in the Sand" in spite of Tropical Depression Cindy. The house was clean, well decorated and furnished nicely. Thanks to the fact that the owner provided lots of games, cards, books and puzzles, we had plenty to do to keep us occupied until the rain stopped. This was our 8th time to stay in Martinique on the Gulf. We love the French Caribbean feel of the community, the two pools, the private beach, work out room and tennis court. We also enjoyed the golf cart provided by the owner. The property management company employees were friendly and courteous. We appreciate very much that we were allowed to bring our dog who is an important part of our family. My only suggestion to the owner would be a stand alone ice maker. I highly recommend "Teaux in the Sand" and the Martinique Community. We will definitely stay there again.

One complaint - why are the beach rental chairs/umbrellas (Ike Service) at the back of the beach? We paid over $500 for the rentals and anyone who brought their own pop up tents gets the front of the beach. You guys have this all set up wrong. The rentals need to be at the front up as close to the shore line as possible. Those that choose not to pay and bring their own needs to be in the back. I asked the beach attendant that works for Ike's and he said it's what the property management system wanted. There was nothing he could do about it. Hope you guys get out of the office and get to the beach and look this over. Think about if you spent $500+ on chairs and umbrellas and someone with a 10'x10' pop up tent gets right in front of you.....

Woman with short blonde hair. Walks her dog. Lives near the front of the development. Always looking for violators of the many rules and has security on speed dial. Doesn't want our kind (short term rental folks) in her neighborhood. SHE LIVES THERE! Unit (Teaux in the Sand) was incredibly dirty, especially in the kitchen area. Walls and door facings were sticky and greasy. Couches and cushioned chair were ancient and in need of replacement. Just downright dingy. Dishes were in the cabinets but not clean. Layout of the unit is good. Beds were comfortable. Could be a really nice place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was quite disappointed with the house itself. It showed many signs of aging: The grill ouside is on the porch instead of on it's own platform. It was filthy, it had left black marks on the wall and the floor. It ran out of propane after 6:00 so I couldn't get help until the next morning. The 3rd floor was a disaster with a broken down pill out sofa and too much furniture. The carpet appeared to be a filthy original. The doors were filthy. We threw out a pan with a burned bottom. Measuring cups and spoons were missing. The living room did not have enough seating for a large group and the one chair was worn and dirty. I feel that I did not get my money's worth. On the brighter side the handyman who came the following morning with a new propane container was excellent. e did a great job of cleaning the grill. Please thank him for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon first arrival to Martinique, nothing was mentioned about the dryer not working. Surely the renters before us had issues and this should have been mentioned to us when checking in, When asking about the dryer getting fixed, communication was a problem. One of the workers acted very nonchalant about this issue, wouldn't return messages left about it and it went from getting a new dryer to finally getting fixed on Thursday! We did get a little refund for the issue which we did appreciate. I just felt like it could have been handled a little differently. One of the master bedrooms was VERY hot and air conditioner did not work in that room. Another issue was the griddle had old food stuck on it. On a positive note, the location is wonderful, house is beautiful and we will be back but would consider another property. A suggestion for the office staff is to improve in communication skills, be honest about the property issues and show some empathy while fixing the problem in a more timely manner.I would only recommend this property if the other master bedroom air conditioner is fixed.

Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, we found the ice maker broken - it was completely jammed with a massive block of moldy ice the size of a shoe box. The door to the fridge is jammed against the wall so it doesn’t fully open in order to clean it out - gross! The freezer also never got cold enough to keep our meat and ice cream frozen. I called and then emailed the front office as detailed in the check in info. It states to call immediately upon check in if you have issues - it was Saturday night so no one answered and I sent an email that was never responded to for the entire weeks stay. We bought ice and just dealt with the inconvenience. The appliances in the kitchen need updated - the coffee maker lid doesn’t stay attached. The hot water heater is dated 2004 and let’s just say 2 people out of the 7 daily taking showers had hot water. The rest of us barely had a Luke warm shower. The garage door doesn’t have an automatic opener so much to my surprise we had to lift the heavy door each time we wanted to use the gulf cart to get to the beach. This also meant the garage door was never securely locked. This is our 4th stay at MOTG. It has some key pluses - the beach is gorgeous and the pools are a plus with kids. The neighborhood feels safe and quiet minus the on-going on construction from the hurricane repairs - which was expected. We’ve stayed in nicer houses in the past - we paid a lot for this large house an expected it to be nicer but found it mediocre.

The beds were all comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the staff was very responsive, and the weather was absolutely perfect. All the appliances and AC worked great! We've been coming to Martinique since at least 2008. This was one of our favorite places! Our only suggestion is to upgrade the living room TV to a bigger screen with streaming possible. Also, the trim around the pantry was sticky so it may need to be repainted, but it wasn't a big deal. We treasure our time at Teaux in the Sand. Such a lovely place to stay! We'd definitely come back or recommend to friends!

Reviewer Comments: The resort was nice, and this house is centrally located to pools and beach. It would be difficult to sleep 14, but we had plenty of space for 7. House needs better cleaning and maintenance: doors are black in high-touch areas, dead flies on windowsills and furniture, food between couch cushions, used dental tool on floor near bed, front exterior light not working, window screen holes, broken glass on exterior of one window, golf cart in poor condition and stopped working mid-stay. I initially declined to contact mgmt about the lack of cleanliness because I wanted to focus on time with family and I missed the one-hour window for doing so. As the week went on and problems continued to arise, I was unsuccessful in contacting mgmt by phone and email, but it was also a holiday week. A relative stayed in another property that was much cleaner. We would consider staying at Martinique again but not this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent an extended weekend at the property for a family vacation. Plenty of space for everyone and good proximity to the beach. Having the golf cart was also a big plus with that. On the negative side, the beds weren't very comfortable, and the sheets were paper thin. Also, we were kind of disappointed to learn 1 week before our arrival that our check-in time was 2 hours after the time that was advertised on AirBnB. It was a bit misleading, and it didn't give us enough time to change our travel plans. Overall, we still had fun and enjoyed our trip.

Unfortunately, this year was not the same. The property was not cleaned very well. We found used feminine products in the crows nest and it didn’t look like the floors had been swept. There were barely enough towels and all the extra blankets had been removed. On the second day we were there, the dryer quit and was not replaced so we were not able to dry our laundry all week. The positives were a new washer, refrigerator and bicycles.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the home, but were unprepared for the lack of appliances, towels and beds. It states sleeps 14, but there were only 8 towels, and the pull out beds were too old/in bad shape to use. It said bikes were included, but there was only 1 adult bike and 2 kids bikes. Of the 3 chairs that were included, 2 were broken.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd stay at Martinique. We love the property overall & private beaches very much and had a great time overall with our family & friends. Our family of 7 fit very nicely and the house was spacious. The house had several things wrong with it, one major during our stay. We did not have a working washing machine until the 2nd to last day we were there! We had 3 maintenance people come out and finally, the night before we left, it was able to be used. The management did eventually make it right, but what a terrible inconvenience. This was a known problem to the management before we checked in and I was extremely disappointed they hadn't corrected the problem before we checked in or given us an alternate house choice, or even told us. I had to discover it by trying to start a load. Once we reported it, the maintenance man said he knew about it and was waiting on a repair guy to come the next day. There are a few other things - the ice machine does not work and the freezer didn't shut tightly so we lost several food items, half of the toaster does not work, and there are terrible stains on the carpet in several spots. We also had an ant problem. The house could use some updating, cleaning & exterminating. We have loved Martinique in the past, and would consider returning, but our stay wasn't 100%

Beautiful, big, great location, amenities lacking

We had a family of 10 ranging from 4 to 60. This place is beautiful and perfect for us. There were plenty of sleep areas, rest rooms, porches, and beach supplies for the kids. The golf cart is definitely a life saver but you’re only a 5 minute max walk until your feet are in the sand. The mid point pool is only about a 1 minute walk away and is nice because half the pool is covered. Gym was great and had great workout equipment but was slightly too small. Once there’s about 5 people it’s crowded. I recommend and would definitely stay here again but there were some slight negatives. The amenities could use some work. TVs all worked but are kind of small. The broom was snapped In half upon arrival and there is two vacuums But were jammed packed with debris. Had to clean out in order to use. The clothes washer is broken and unknown to management. It would start, fill, sit for 15 minutes, and then drain. This was difficult for a family of 10 when you packed clothing based off of thinking you could wash clothes. We called management and they were very nice and recognized the need but was unable to get it fixed. They brought us more towels 5 days into our stay. Lastly and the most frustrating part to us, the ice maker. When we arrived, there were about 6 very small ice cube trays. I opened the ice maker and was completely frozen with a huge block of ice. Took it out and fixed. Hours later, it’s doing the same thing. The freezer was set at the coldest setting but wouldn’t get cold enough to keep the ice from melting slowly. So, we ran to the store every day for ice. Overall, we are very pleased with our stay and would definitely consider this place again. We had a great time!
