    You're just minutes away from Gulf Shores. The family-friendly beachfront town where you'll find fine-dining, shopping and concert/festival venues. Some activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of sugary sand beaches.

We enjoyed our stay at this property and the highlight is definitely the large screened in porch overlooking the bay. The AC went out on our last night there. We called maintenance and did speak to them but there was not much to be done on the evening of Memorial Day. We also did not have hot water! This was a bit of a damper on our trip but we checked out the next morning and made the best of it. Overall, this is a great property for a large group if you can stagger showers for hot water, even better.

We recently stayed at Flipside for a 4 -day trip, and it was exactly the getaway we were looking for.What we loved: The Atmosphere: The highlight of our stay was definitely the time spent crabbing on the dock. It was the perfect, relaxing way to enjoy the space. The Location: It was perfectly situated—just a short walk to the beach and conveniently located near the local restaurants. The Property: The space was well-maintained, clean, and matched the listing photos perfectly. Communication: The host was proactive and made the check-in and check-out process incredibly smooth.Room for improvement:To help future guests and the host, I wanted to note two minor issues we encountered: Fridge Performance: The refrigerator struggled to keep a consistent cool temperature during our stay, which made storing perishables a bit challenging. Pest Control: We noticed a few bugs getting inside, specifically around the exterior door seals. A bit of extra weather stripping or sealing could easily resolve this.The Experience:It’s rare to find a place that hits all the marks for both comfort and convenience. Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach day or some quiet time by the water, I’d highly recommend this property.We would definitely stay here again!
