At first glance, the house looks small. But looks are deceiving! The kitchen is huge and well laid out and the table can accommodate 8 adults easily. The owners have thought of everything from dishwasher pods, coffee, filters, cream sugar to washer pods and even gray washcloths for washing off make up. There were plenty of white towels for bathing and even blue towels for the lake.
All the light switches, knobs, etc were well marked so it made it easy without guessing what turned on what!
We had 4 couples and everyone had plenty of room. The main bedroom had a half bath and the other 2 bedrooms upstairs had plenty of room with a really nice hall bath and newly renovated shower. There was a huge half bath and tub/shower room off the kitchen and laundry room. The shower had a rainfall shower, regular showerhead and there were body jets. I found it complicated to use somewhat the first time, but once I figured it out - it was great! Downstairs had 4 twin beds that worked well for one couple. The only downfall to the downstairs was there wasn't a bathroom, so they had to come upstairs during the night when necessary. The extra frig in the basement came in SO handy for overflow.
There is plenty of seating and tables on the back deck and patio. Even a firepit with plenty of wood, although it was too hot to use.
We loved the house and we all talked about coming back again, but in the fall when we could enjoy the outdoor area more. Thank you Ben and Lela!
