The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok

"Stay at the Oberoi is always amazing. The warm staff, the food, etc. We took the airport pick up from the hotel itself. It was seamless, we were offered a wet towel on our arrival, teh driver was very friendly. Even though guy hr we reached early the staff were kind enough to check us in early. The lunches we had at the Sun bird cafe were really yumm. The masala chai and snacks during tea time were also yumm. The property has their own jetty so it was really convenient to go diving and snorkelling. Pijaan, the person who took us diving was really very very professional and warm at the same time. Each night, dinner was special, there was traditional dance one night, Indonesian street food special another, etc etc. Will definitely come back next year :)"

"The swell villa was really beautiful, well equipped and clean. We relaxed there for 2 days after a lot of travelling around Indonesia. The restaurant is excellent and f&b generally very good indeed. The staff are clearly well knitted team and knew what they were doing. The setting for the restaurant is very pretty. They do need to do something with housekeeping. The turn down service did not do much. We did get the pool cleaned as on arrival it was cloudy. We asked for daily pool towels etc and cleared the old ones ourselves. Glasses were not cleaned. I would not be put off by this as the villa is exceptional but just be aware that you should ask for these things to be done"

"The team at Bel Air are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Great spot on the island with snorkelling just off the shore. Only 10 minute walk to H20 yoga! Lovely pool at a cool temperature, good live music a few times a week and value for money."

"The hotel location is very peaceful. We had the beach almost to ourselves during the stay. It is also convenient for Bangsal port, being a short drive if you are travelling on to Bali or the Gili islands. We had the seafront room, which was comfortable and with great beach views."
