"Beatiful hotel "

"This review is specifically for the “penthouse” suite with the private bathroom. We were very disappointed to arrive to find the bathroom filthy and clearly used and not cleaned. I’m assuming one of the guests from the downstairs rooms with the shared bathrooms had found it and been using it, but the management really should have checked before we arrived. We bought cleaning wipes at the market and cleaned the bathroom as best we could. Also the mattress was so old and worn out that you could see the springs through the sheet. We layered two duvets under the sheet to even be able to sleep on it. Their dogs barked nonstop for hours, from the time we arrived til late into the night. Breakfast was good and the room was huge. It’s a shame because the place has a lot of potential and could be really nice, but is just very poorly managed. Certainly not worth the $100/night price tag. Perhaps fine if you’re paying $18 for the rooms downstairs with the shared bathroom."

"Although the property gave me an upgrade the room was very cold because “ the heating doesn’t come on till October” They offered more blankets but no small heater etc. The breakfast was good and the views from the Hotel Restaurant of the Caucuses Mountains were great. There were no tea & coffee making facilities in my room, however they did give me one complementary cup of tea. The wifi kept dropping out. As a solo traveller I enjoy a good internet connection"

"Honestly, the place was beautiful. But whay truly made our experience memorable was the wonderful staff that welcomed us warmly and treated us with so much kindness. Also a big plus are the dogs Fran and Chardonnay. Georgians truly are so kind!"

"It's a nice hotel from afar but it's clearly aimed at a client from a certain large cross continental country. Certain things just felt a of a let down and bluntly we wouldn't go again. Our room was nice enough with a big TV and overall good size but the curtains didn't pull fully round so you had light every morning and the cleaner seeing me naked when cleaning the windows in the early hours which was ok but my wife was less than happy. Breakfast was a sh**show of who can fill up their plates highest and then....leave half of it for the cleaners, this meant food was running out constantly and there was huge queues for basically anything. Really unpleasant experience. The pool was like many resorts fighting for deckchairs to then have crap drinks ten times the price of anywhere in the country. The gym was a state with cracked flooring meaning for me who was bearfoot or flip flops as you do at a resort meant sharp bits of tile jamming in my feet. Most equipment felt like it was about to break and I actually had to fix the main cable machine as it broke while I used it. Leaving and returning to the hotel is like your being grilled for a prison, I just don't think people leave this hotel while staying here as the security staff seemed pi**ed off that we had gone and come back. I was trying to think of a witty line like a gold plated turd for this place but it's nicer than that....it's a 6/10 and that's really it. "

"We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel, where the rooms were just as stunning. The culinary experience was a definite highlight; we enjoyed a cracking menu at both lunch and dinner, complemented by a nice breakfast that offered a great mix of buffet and made-to-order options. The wine tasting was a real pleasure, featuring a delightful selection of pre-selected local wines. This was perfectly paired with an incredibly interesting tour that delved into the rich history of winemaking in Georgia, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. While we felt the tour was a tiny bit rushed, leaving us wishing for more detail, the silver lining was it meant we got to the wine tasting quicker! Overall, a truly memorable and highly recommended experience. "

"A lovely small property run by Keti. She looked after me impeccably. The place is basic and the price refects that. But it comfortable and clean with views to die for. A wonderful individual breakfast prepared for you at your desired time. Would recommend it and would 100% stay again."
