Trout House resort was perfect for our trip. It was on a peaceful plot of property right across from the Northern part of Lake George. It some traditional outdoor activities available for kids of all ages (putting green, a couple basketball hoops, badminton/ volleyball and a beach area with a beautiful dock. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased.

This one checked all the boxes. The location was great. The cabin was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated in Adirondack style. There were many activities available on the grounds at no extra charge. They even had the fireplace in front of our cabin stacked and ready to light.

We grabbed the room last minute considering the price location (near the lake). The room turned out to be very small, though clean. Bed was too soft. No pool onsite, however you are advised to swim in the lake. What’s worse no restaurant, no pizzeria nearby. You may drive 15 minutes to a takeaway Mexican grill which was always a longline.
